What could be more important the your interview...?

My wife is in nursing program.and she couldnt absent herself from school.Its exam day for her.

She should make an infopass appointment to request a rescheduled interview, If you only go through the 1-800 line you stand a high chance of getting a letter of denial for failing to appear for the interview. This has happened to others in the past. Make sure you take evidence of the Exam with you when you go for the infopass appointment.

Yesterday I received a letter from INS saying that they can only approve one reschedule interview only.Should I need to go to INFO pass

to still give the evidence for my wifes school exam?

My parents just got their Green Card last July 2009.After I Petitioned them here.I am a US citizen.Unfortunately,they want to go back home

to our country in the Phil.How can they preserve their green card status once the leave the country.

They have to continue coming every year or so and they can't just come and go, they have to stay for months then leave and repeat.

For a lot of people, it is usually a huge financial drain to keep a green card active and so they (worse when it is "they") have to decided if it is worth it.

The other option is to keep the GC going until they qualify for citizenship then they can leave and never return, but what good is that?

I have a scheduled Interview with my wife and I for AOS.this October 28,2009.But unfortunately we have a prior schedule for that date.

So I called in the USCIS hotline and told them about my circumstances.We put in a request if its possible we could be interviewed

on any thursdays.

Do these requests usually are granted?How long is the delay for my next interview?

I wasnt able to get a SSN no before my I 94 expired.?But Went already with the AOS.And finished the biometrics yesterday.

My question is can I go to Social Security office to apply for an SSN? Can I just show my biometrics stamped.?

How can I go about this?

hi... when i was in PI i used Sun Cellular to call my Husband it was only 5 pesos per minute. Though we had magicjack since i have PC at home but in case I am out at home I can still contact my husband.

Our AOS has been mailed off and we know it arrived at the Chicago office via certified mail tracking. We are moving this weekend and have our mailing address forwarding (*biting the nails*) and we filled out all documents with our new mailing address. So, hopefully nothing gets lost or delayed! It's sooooo hard being patient and waiting to see what comes next. I keep checking to see if they've cashed the checks!

Yes, AP is correct to file for multiple returns to the US while waiting for AOS. I have never heard of it not being approved.
