  1. I'm curious, if anyone ever been approved after submitting the required documents listed on the 221g. We were denied because some documents my fiancee need to obtain and submit to the embassy.

why denied? i also have 221g and consular asked me to send one more document that single certificate so that why my visa's pending then when they got my single certificate they called me to say that i have to submit my passport then i did. after 5 days i got my Visa now i'm going to usa soon :)

  2. I just read a few other posts stating that sometimes approvals are issued without requireing an embassy interview. Is anyone familiar with this happening?

my friend she does no interview us consular in manila send her visa to her home address.. so u dnt have to worry bout it.

  3. NOTE1: Police Certificate is required for any place in their country of citizenship; the beneficiary has lived longer than six (6) months, after age of 16.

***this is what i read in a link here on VJ. And some people say only NBI clearance is needed for NVC. So, do i need to apply for Police Clearance from Quezon City or NBI is enough? And NBI really sucks..! When I applied for clearance in 2003, my name was HIT (namesake). Same thing happened when I applied in 2007. And now, my name was HIT again and that would delay my DS-230 for sure because i have to come back for the clearance after 2 weeks. Oh God!!

if your NBI' record'####### meaning you have same name and you have to wait for another few days to confirm that you are never got any cases before but if the person who same name as yours who has got cases before you must submit a declaration for denial meaning that you r not the person who never got cases before? so just pray that the person who same name as you that never got trouble before..

  4. I've noticed alot of discussion regarding filing a second K1 visa within two years of the first, and how the US CIS mistakes "beneficiary" for "petition". What I'm curious about is the two per lifetime K1 visa sponsorship limit. It seems that the wavier for that should only be granted if a previous beneficiary dies (or a female is abused by a previous beneficiary), at least, that's the impression i get reading the forms & internal memo. I've read the GAO report that states most K1 waivers are granted, but that's for the two-year rule if I'm reading it correctly. Is there any information regarding someone who's actually willing to risk a third round of Russian Roulette? I mean, even felons get three strikes, we get only two?

Mind you, this is purely of intellectual interest to me. I have no intention of going down the aisle again, regardless of her citizenship. ;)

I had my 3rd approved and it was within 2 years of the 2nd approval. The first 2 girls had backed out on me and never made it here to the US (they were 19 yrs old and this had most to do with it). This time it was me who backed out on this 3rd one, and she went back to the Philippines. Im still hoping to find a filipina wife cause I just cant meet the kind of woman I want here. So I may be looking for my 4th petition some day, perhpas sooner than later. Im just havent been ready to give my search any effort yet. Maybe Ill be the first 4th petition IMBRA test case here. If so, Ill be sure to let everyone know how it goes. If I could only find a 30 to 36 yr old woman in the states who isnt overweight, carrying baggage from previous marriages, and who doesnt care how much money I make, then I just might not need to look overseas for marriage.

then good luck for you. i confuse for the 3rd girl why you back off? does she overweight plus extra baggage? that suck

  5. Good day fellow VJ'ers, how are you doing all?

I've been thinking about this question. " HOW DID YOU MEET? "

Me and my wife were introduced by my aunt who happen to be her co-worker in the same Hospital.

Do you think it will not cause any problem, If I will tell them that we were intoduced by my aunt.

They said you have to tell the truth only, nothing less nothing more.:unsure:

HUH?? cause of problem where?? during interview u mean??

I don't think so wherever u meet or how u meet ur wife/husband

as long U tell the truth.. I think they are not particular of that..

and also.. U love each other..

Yes, I know for us, it seems like there is no problem.

But being related to someone who introduced your wife is somewhat an issue with the immigration officials.

BETTER TELL THE TRUTH. OTHERWISE THERE'S NOTHING WRONG TO TELL TO THE OFFICERS THAT YOU MET YOUR FIANCE(E)/WIFE/HUSBAND..THROUGH YOUR AUNTIE.. THATS WOULD BE GREAT.

  6. hey how did she live before she met u?

    abby n sheryl

just be smart for choosing a woman to spend for the rest of your life.well actually shes only your fiancee not a wife you dnt have obligation to send money everymonth. well maybe you can send something but not money for each month. good luck

  7. Hello everyone,

I hope i can get some help in this forum. My wife just went to the interview in Lagos Nigeria for her visa, she was denied visa, because she doesn't have old pictures of us together or our parent present in the wedding pictures. The parents were not present at the wedding because one was going through surgery and the other was out of state.

I left Lagos in 1996 and we've kept in touch ever since. I went back home in 2007 and we got married at the registry office in Lagos. It was only my brother, my wife's sister and some guess that was present at the wedding. I just hope they don't think this is a fraud. I presented every documents needed she was approved in America immigration office how come they denied her visa in lagos? I am so upset about the whole situation. this is ridiculous. I hope i can get some help here.

She answered every questions correctly I was told. Except when the offical asked her why the parents were not present at the wedding. We did the wedding in a rush because i only had few days to my departure from lagos. The offical did not schedule her for another interview, he just wrote visa denied due to not enough evidence.

What is the next thing to do so she can get the visa? before they send the whole documents back to the USCIS. Or How can i go about helping her?

    Thank you.

why denied? its just lack of evidence they must tell to your wife that just provide picture of the wedding not denied that suck.

i got also interviewed here in hongkong and i have incomplete document but they did'nt denied my visa instead just pending and wait to present my record of no marriages.then when they got my record of marriages my visa will be send here at home..

i think to make it sure everything is fine just hire a lawyer. a lawyer will tell help you..

  9. Little help please? It should be time soon for me to send I-129f and I-134 documents to my fiance and

I was wondering what would be the best and fastest way to do this? I don't think DHL goes there anymore

and am pretty sure neither does Fed-Ex or UPS. So...just use the post office?

DO NOT use the post office. Fed-Ex does deliver there and I am pretty sure UPS does also. I used Fed-Ex.

may i know if those form is she's already sign up? if not yet then better to ask her to go in the internet cafe and go to google and type the form of I-129f and print them out and fill up also signature and send back to you. also that I-134 your the one who will fill up those affidavit of support.. when u got them all then send to the homeland where you at. or USCIS..

its so easy now bcoz you can download any form by internet.just like me and husband he just told me what kind form then i will go to google and download. then i fill up with my signature. then i will sent to him.. coz postmail will take a week later. but if you need to send some document that cant download to the internet then use for EXPRESS MAIL. 4 DAYS ONLY.. hope i can give you some idea . good luck

  11. pink slippppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what they asked you about your interview in philippines.

when i got interview here in hk they asked me a lot of things hehehe but its great i also passed the interview.

  12. Hello to all!

just want to ask here to my fellow vj'rs..how do you know if you passed your medical or not?im just being so paranoid about it..though im still preparing for my upcoming interview..just done my medical today and the staff told me to be back tomorrow and bring the receipt they give me..

Thanks and any replies will be gladly appreciated!

    GOD BLESS!

then wait to answer your question tomorrow. if you'r unfit, staff will talk to you and they will tell you about the problem but if they did'nt say anything about your medical then that means your passed or fit.

so you dont have to worries about it.

  13. Does anyone know for sure how long both the police certificate and the medical exam are valid for? My husband is Nigerian born but lives on the Ivory Coast. So he will have to travel to Lagos for his interview when it comes around and we are wanting to get as ahead of the game as we can. Do you think it's to soon to get his certificate from the Ivory Coast now? Does anyone know how long it takes to get in for the medical exams in Nigeria? We are wondering how long before his interview date he should travel to Nigeria. I know he will have to have some immunizations but won't know which ones until his exam, does that add a lot of time to the medical exam process? We appreciate any help we can get from you VJer's!

    Thanks ~ Erica & Kingsley

as far as i know.. police certificate is valid for 1 year. medical valid for 6 mos. this is from philippines and hongkong

  14. My fiance screwed up and admitted at the medical that she used marijuana one time. Now they want her to see a physchiatrist. But is it going to matter, or is that one time use 4 years ago going to get her banned anyway?

she must say no never use marijuana lol otherwise i dnt think they can find out that. coz its already 4 years ago.

i know someone he used to drugs but he stopped to use for more than amonth and he just drink a lot of water/milk and ate a lot of vegstable. then he took a medical examination afterward.then his medical result's good.

  15. I know it is a little soon, as our process is just starting at NVC, but I know that the Consulate interview can't be far off. I am wondering, does anyone know how much of the chat logs I should bring? I ask, because we literally have chatted nearly every day for the past year and a half since we first met.

Also, as far as emails, should we bring only emails between me and my wife, or could/should I include emails/correspondence between my wife and my family members, specifically my parents, which might help in showing that we have a real relationship, which doesn't stop at me, but extends to our respective families.

    Thanks much!

as far as my concern. bring alot of photos with u and ur wife /telephone bills/letter/cards

some emails those things i brought when i got my interview,

they may ask you too about her number.

  16. I've waited for more than 3 months to finally write this...APPROVED!!! NOA2 was received by my husband today. Thank God! Last week, I posted "DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD/TRAVEL DOCUMENT MAILED TO APPLICANT" topic here asking what that means. I thought it was an RFE or something else. Our I-130 was approved on August 17 but was returned because my husband forgot to change his address online. They re-mailed it on September 3 and he received it today (Sept.10). Thank God and good luck to all. NVC, here we come. Please be good to us.

good luck if you have own computer better put your email to your application and check it your email all the time easy to communacate to the NVC, NVC will send to your email for all information about your application..

my interview was great but my visa's pending coz i have to send CENOMAR that im waiting for.but once they receive my CENOMAR.

then my visa they will send to my home.. :)

  17. If you had a record and didn't disclose it, your visa will be denied, and you will incur a three year ban (or possibly longer).

However, it looks like it's not a crime of moral turpitude, so you'll probably be OK.

Administrative processing can occur for any number of reasons. I wouldn't freak out about it.

Edit: I take it back. Wikipedia marks larceny as a crime of moral turpitude. I don't know what to tell you.

i guess that not the problem as long shes not a criminal or drug user, but you should put into your application its bcoz they gonna find out that case, they will just ask what happend or they may ask you to get record that your were clear.

  18. Hi! anyone in VJ who is in process at NVC this September who already got their AOS Bill and DS-3032? My case was forwarded at NVC at Sept. 01 and got our case #. But my husband haven't received the letter from NVC. I called the NVC and the operator get our email add. I am just curious if anybody here at vj already receive the AOS Bill and DS-3032.

  19. Is anyone familier with the interview process at US Consulate General, Guangzhou China. My wife has diffculty speaking and understanding english and I am wondering how that will impact the interview. We have not been notified of a date yet, but my experience dealing with this Consulate is marginal at best. I have been there three times and have never spoken to an American. It appears all the workers are Chinese :help:

    american officer will just ask?

    first things. wheres your husband?

where did you meet your husband?

how long did you know him?

how did you met your husband?

    how you communacate your husband?

they will ask your husband telephone number so you should know your husband#

    when did you get married?

well american officers not to much question, not like chinese officers they to much question..

i got interview here in hongkong last sept 4/09 my interview was great coz chinese officers talked to me like a friend it bcoz shes to much question..
