Hey guys, had a quick question. On form I-130 item 22, for CR-1 path what is the best response as the beneficiary does not have to apply for AOS. Should the City and Country name be filled for applying for visa or should it be left blank as the beneficiary does not have to apply for AOS.

I had a question. I've applied for K3 visa for my spouse. She hasn't had her interview yet in Pakistan which is on the 14th of December but I've reeived a letter from NVC for AOS that is its invoice and form to appoint a legal representative. Should I fill that out and submit along with online fees or wait for my spouse to be here before doing so.

no, not if you want K-3 as the AOS request is for IR1

I mean even though she has not had her interview for K3 should I go on as I 130 has been accepted and file for AOS.

My wife's interview was originally on 23rd Nov but due to current situation in Islamabad, Pakistan, they rescheduled it for Dec 10th. However, they told us that they won't send us any confirmation letter and she will have to take the original letter (which has interview date of 23rd).. so just wanted to know if embassy will be sending us a new appointment letter...has anyone gone through the same experience ? Please advise..Thanks!!

Email them and they tell them you need something to verify the interview date change.....

Yeah, my wife's interview has been rescheduled twice now. She was suppose to interview on the 26th of Oct, got rescheduled for the 23rd of Nov and now 14th of Dec. This is not good but what can you do. I 've been trying to contact the embassy but can't get through. Whenever I send an email I get a automated " FAQ's" reply. I called american express and they said to use the same letter. Its strange but true.

hey when i get home i will pm you the email u need to write to i emailed the pakistani embassy 6 times until they finally wrote back to me i have 3 emails addrresses and everytime i email them they email me back...

email them to confirm the interview.... and they will say it is confirmed and to bring this email to prove it...

Some news for everyone who will be interviewing at the US Embassy in Islamabad. Its closed from the 26th to the 30th of Oct. My wife was supposed to have her K3 visa interview on the 26th but was cancelled because of reasons best known to the Embassy. The Embassy has not posted this information on there website so please call the Embassy before going.

Hi guys, had a quick question. My wife received packet 3.5 with I-156, I-156K, DS230, I-134. Acocrding to my understanding and visajourney guide, it seems more for K1. Do K3 visa applicants nonetheless fill out the same forms.

Hi, everyone. Just updated my timeline. My wife received packet 3.5 from the embassy today. Everything thanks to God seems to be moving smoothly. I hope all of us get through this difficault time and unite with our loved ones soon.

Hey guys just got online approval of I-129F and I-130. This the best day of my life. God is great..........Hope you guys get your approvals soon.

I got a RFE 8 days ago and after submitting the required info got my approval.

Its a beautiful day!
