  1. I've got my green card in October 2009. I have been in kentucky for more than 5 years (including time being on F-1 visa). I am working and paying tax for 3 years to today. And my husband is a Kentucky resident. So am I also considered as a Kentucky resident? Do I get in-state tuition in Kentucky if I go to university in Kentucky?

I am a little frustrated right now because I have to borrow loans to pay for my out-of-state tuition.

is there anyone know how to become a resident of a state? We don't own any property, except our cars.

Please reply. Thank you very much.

  2. 1/ I don't think that it is a big deal to have the document's copy to be noterized. and no one ask your mom to have the original document.

2,3/ You and your husband: Tax document + A letter from you and your husband to the U.S. Consulate. It can be the same as your mom's invitation letter, but you can add emotion to it, like: it's been long that you not seeing her, you're going to have a baby, some other special occations that you want her to be there with you.

Your mom: Any of the properties' certification that your mom own in the home country.

From what I've learned. Good luck!

  3. well, this is a full story to see if there's any solution for me.

I am on F1 visa and currently working at a public library off-campus, because my previous school allows me to work there. My SEVIS (which is known as I-20) will be transferred to a university on July 28th, 2009 and this school doesn't allow me to work off-campus with my F1 visa (of course, they're right. I totally understand).

The received date on My EAD's NOA is 06/24/2009. Do you think my EAD will make it here just on time?

Can I get any EAD temporary stamp after the Biometric interview for EAD? Do you think I would have that option?

Is there any way to keep my job legally?
