Just spoke with a immigration officer at the port of entry in Houston Int'l Airport.
"If she provides evidence that her intention is to come for "pleasure" meaning a week or two, then she is allowed to enter."
"If she decides to stay for 6 months, then her intent is to immigrate."
"Sufficient evidence is her plane ticket showing she is to return to her country and/or a letter from her employer showing she has to return to work within 2 weeks after her "vacation" or trip."
I asked what did they think about 1 or 2 months?
The immigration officer said it was too much time.

I spoke with a supervisor at the point of entry at George Bush Int'l Airport.
He said she would be allowed.
However, I spoke with an officer the last time I passed, and he advised she can enter the US on her B1/B2 while she is waiting for the K3, as long as she shows intent to return to he US.
Have you had a personal experience with this?

I recommend going to your US Senator's office.
Each Senator has a person that handles constituant services.
If you start a case for your spouses' visa - they will know people in the Embassy or US Gov't that can assist you.
Good luck!

I am a US Citizen. I have petitioned for the K3 visa for my wife in Nicaragua.
We were married civally in Nicaragua on 5/23/09.
We are getting married by the church on 8/15/09.
After our honeymooon, I would like to bring her back with me to visit for 2 months while the I-130 & I-129 are being processed.
Can she come to the US on her B1/B2 visa?
Has anyone been in this situation before?
Will the border patrol people not allow her in the country?

You can call the NVC on the phone number listed on your NOA2.
My petition was reviewed within a week or so.
