You are required by law to file a US tax return every year, whether you are resident in the US or not.

This is so so so so WRONG! No where, absolutely no where does it say you are required to file an income tax return. You only need to pay your tax burden in a timely manner. It may seem like I am splitting hairs but I am not.

If you have fulfilled your tax burden you do not need to file any paperwork with anybody. The tax return is used to determine your tax burden. If you have no income; if you over paid your tax burden, or have no tax burden; then you don't need to file any paperwork.

The reason tax attorney's highly recommend you file the paperwork, is you can get a tax refund, and limit the IRS's ability to audit prior tax years. Once you file, the clock starts running on the amount of time that the IRS has to audit the paperwork. Additionally it is the tax payers responsibility to adequately prove they have paid their tax burden.

For tax year 2009 $91,400 is exempt.

HOWEVER

If both you and your spouse work abroad and each of you meets either the bona fide residence test or the physical presence test, you can each choose the foreign earned income exclusion. You do not both need to meet the same test. Together, you and your spouse can exclude as much as $182,800.

For the most part foreign taxes paid can be deducted. There are limitations. See IRS publication 54

Now the question about why should you have to pay taxes if you are a US Citizen living overseas?

Think about it...you are still entitled to use the services of the US Embassy / Consulate in the country. You could return to the USA at any moment. You previously used services in the US. etc...etc...

The question about why income earned from US banks is not part of the exempt income, because it is an issue of nexus. The US bank is physically located inside the US, therefore the income was earned in the US.

But it is terribly biased.

Depends on your viewpoint.... some feel it accurately describes the individuals. With controversial subjects there will always be a wide range of opinions. The Wikipedia editing police are not infallible.

With most scientific, historical accounts they tend to get a good portion of it correct. It is not the end all be all source. If you read it with an idea that the author(s) may or may not have written the account with a strong bias. It is ok.

Unfortunately, where I live (out in the boonies), we don't have access to cable. We have Dish Network though and don't have those other channels you mentioned. Also, living in the boonies means slow internet, which means we can't stream channels and videos...well...that takes forever to download. It sucks. But if NBC, who apparently owns the monopoly on the games this year showed the actual games..WHEN they were played and completely, it would be a moot point. I can only hope they lose their contract when the next winter games roll around in 4 yrs.

I just looked at the Dish Network website. I am really surprised that MSNBC and CNBC are not in the 120 (bottom) package. HOWEVER YOU do have the USA network, which will show some more sports. Better than nothing.

You have to watch the other channels to get better sports coverage. You need cable, so you can watch things on MSNBC, USA, CNBC, Universal, and Universal Sports.

I wonder what jurisdiction the US government TSA list has over international flights that don't go to the US at all. For example, could she drive to Canada or Mexico and catch an international flight from one of those countries? I don't know the answer.

I could imagine that the TSA might share its list, and while the TSA might be powerless to directly order Mexican authorities to deny boarding, the Mexican authorities might just deny boarding anyway.

The TSA shares their list with several foreign intelligence agencies and those agencies share information with the USA. Most notably the USA shares the info with UK, Can, Aus, and NZ. The governments in those countries determine if they want to enforce a no-fly list of their own.

The time line with them all on the plane is the reset timeline. The bomb worked. However, it only worked for the characters in the next time loop. That's why the island is under water - it got sunk by the bomb. This is also why Desmond was on the plane. The island was sunk in 1976 (or whatever year it was), so he never made it to the island, never got trapped on there when he went sailing and so on.

I would suggest also looking at the Internet Tutor sites. You can do 1 hour lessons for about $10 an hour and you will be speaking with a native speaker. They can help reinforce things and help guide you.

For power supply I use two Cooler Master Power Pro 1250 watts, 80+ Certified...don't know which one silver, gold, bronze...who cares

There's a procedure to connect two power supply together so when you turn one on, the other will turn on as well. You need to buy a 4 pin relay switch from radio shack.
