if you get transferred to csc, california centre, then you don't need to present any evidence and there is no interview
-
you will have to wait it out.
my transfer was july 24 and I got my card ordered on Jan 7th of this year.
I am sure you will not have to wait that long but it's too early to worry
-
thank you, guys.
You have been great support during the loooong wait.
-
Happy New Year everyone!
My card was ordered today - January 7th. It was hard to wait through Christmas but it did arrive.
Relieved.

That's all a touch on Dec 13th, last one was just like all of you on Oct 19th. So they know about me and my file ...
-
Brij, I am sorry to hear your experience. Just think, you have a wonderful, caring fiance who will fight for you in this. that is what it's all about. The visa will arrive. Stay strong.

I am still at csc. It's confusing to me too... I am not sure why they brought up Indianapolis since I am at csc.
-
Thank you guys for your care. You are the best.
Still nothing. I'd let you know immediately. I called them a month ago, they profusely apologized but said that they are working on May 3rd in the Indianapolis applications. So they know about me but basically let me know that I have to wait.
Again, I'll let you all know when anything happens. Thanks for your support!

Jeff,
it's only a matter of time before you get your visa. They only keep your passport for one reason - to put the visa in it.

You do not need SSN for marriage registry. I am the foreign fiancee, I got married to my American husband first. Then few weeks later i applied for SSN and received it in a week in my maiden name first. Then I went back and received a new SSN with my married name on it.

Just a personal opinion, I'd buy a used Honda or Toyota, they last forever with little mechanical problems. huyndai's can be lemons - you might spend more time repairing them than driving them.
Anyways, just my personal experience.
-
i too think that it has to do with location.
I'm in indianapolis, and the office here is overloaded, apparently. When I called i was told that right now they are processing may 3rd applications.
-
Karri, CONGRATULATIONS! Your approval is giving me hope that our timelimes are getting processed ...
-
Karri, your timeline is almost identical to mine. I am still waiting too, the last one in the June forum. I got those two october touches and then nothing since then.

mooore leftovers ...
the dishes are killing me, I'm still trying to wash everything, not fun
-
yey, a turkey. I am cooking my first thanksgiving dinner - we are celebrating tomorrow. I made cranberry sauce - it tastes great and today I made stuffing.
Cranberry sauces
- cranberries, 1 cup of sugar, half a cup of squeezed orange juice, half a cup of water, bring to a boil till they pop. yummy
stuffing: bought flavoured cubes, added mushrooms, celery and 2 cups of butter/water brought to a boil.

Joana, this must be very stressful I feel for you. But just think it's only biometric finger prints and address change. Just get the finger prints done and your card will be in the mail.
Yes, movingsoon2 you're right. I can't wait to be done with this and have a peaceful mind for at least 2 years. Hopefully everything will be ok after the scheduled second biometrics.
me, too. It is very frustrating at times ... yes, just give them what they need and you will be done with them

Congratulations Leo!
When do you head off to boot camp? My retired marine asks
Movingsoon...you ARE next ..hang in there !
Thanks.
If I understood the recruiter correctly I have to be at least in a 30-day fitness program before they can ship me out to BC.
So based on his calculations I may be headed for boot camp in mid-January at the earliest.
However, I think that's assuming I pick a job (MOS) that is not in high demand and there are openings available. I'm not picky... I really wanna start ASAP.
Anything but cook. I don't want a whole battalion to starve because of me
Thank you cdneh for your encouraging words! Being the last one left makes me feel like it must be my turn next!
Leo Feng - such great news, go and get the turkey now ...
-
Davechelsey - enjoy your cruise, what a great way to celebrate your husband getting a job and a gcard!!! Thanks for your support
Leo - congratulations - you made it!

My husband and I met online on christiancafe.com. I really wanted to meet someone local or at least Canadian. Instead, I met my husband who happens to be an American. I am so glad I did.
-
Hi Creasy, I'm in the same boat in the June forum. I feel like you do. Hang in there, our turn is coming soon.
-
Amazing, Davechelsea! The wait is over for you, too, celebrate !
Leo - best wishes for the interview, bring the card home!
Thank you all for your encouragement.!
