My Step Dad has process a petition for my minor brother and its been approved.

NVC is requesting for Affidavit of support but we don't know which to use? I'm so confuse. Should we use the I-864W or I-864EZ Affidavit of Supports.

Info about my Step Dad

His a US Citizen

He married my mother while my brother was 16years old.

Step Dad and Mother lives in the US.

My brother is 17years old located in the Philippines

I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me on this.

Hello everyone i meet a filipina friend in my area who arrived her as KI-VISA the got married last month but they notice they are not compitable each other and find it out they will fight for some of simply probs so she is worry about her situition if she can stay long in here because she have her cousin also married in th same state maybee can help her to stay ..she is asking the length of her stay in US and asking any option if its better for her to file a divorce?are what are also the possible result if she file a divorce even without a green card can she re marry again if by chance she can meet another guy..that is only her advance questions...but she scared about the situition the guy she become a husband treating her bad already..so anyone in here can advice my friends..that would be of great help for my friend..thanks to all...

I would recommend counseling first and they need time to adjust...

My husband and I were so addicted sa farm town before. As in.. when im at work iniisip ko yong farm ko then i would wake up my husband just to harvest. Tapos napupuyat sya sa farm town.. It took us months to get over it. We stop at level 26 and 27. buti nlang hindi na kami na addict ngayon ahehe.. They have a lots of games pero don't want to start na. Ayaw ko maaddict. ahehe....

I just had my 1st day of medical exam at SLMCEC.

I arrived 2pm and I got out 3:15pm. I would suggest everybody to go in the afternoon if they don't want to wait in line.

OMG, I did the same thing, i paid for the IV Bill without a invoice generated. Im so worried.

i emailed my ds3230 sept. 29, then send hard copy sept. 30thru LBC.. and thank God this when i log in into NVC web site our IV fee bill was generated....we will wait for our invoice 1st b4 we make a step....try To send Hard Copy of Ds3230.... :dance:

I been calling NVC everyday if they have receive the Choice of Agent that my husband emailed to them. It was emailed on Sept 23. There saying that it's not showing up in the system. I had send I864 (Affidavit of Support) on Sept 29 and they have received it. Since im so frustrated waiting i asked them if its ok to send via air mail the copy of the Choice of Agent. They said its fine. So will see how it goes. I'll send it today for standard delivery. Im thinking maybe its faster to process when you send it to them via air mail instead of email?.

I thought i was the only one whose feeling it this way. Look at the bright side atleast you had 3months to spend with your husband. For me i only had two weeks to spend with my husband. Then i came back here in the US. I been married for 4months now. Since i got back i haven't had 8hours of sleep, im always thinking of him, crying at night, questioning my decision. Missing him so bad. It's heart wrecking. There are days that i feel so down and depressed. There are days that im ok. I don't know what kind of advice i can give you bec im in the same situation also.. Maybe go out with your friends?. I do that but when im with my friends i feel like i always wants to go home and talk to my husband in skype. Good luck to both of us. I hope our husband won't get tired of our whining.

Hello every one, This would be Tom without Judy on this post. I have sad news,

Judy has decided not to go to the interview. This comes as a shock to me, but to some of you saw this coming.

Her reason is simple, One of her past boyfriends came back. And to keep it short. Money was involved.

She still wants to be friends. I still do talk to her.

But she is telling me now that I have to wait 2 years before I can file another Petition for someone else.

And for her it's 6 months for someone to file a petition on her behalf......IS THIS TRUE?

Sorry to hear that. I think what you should do, just call the NVC and let them know the situation. The sooner the better.... I hope everything will be alright for you... take care and god bless....

I have not send in the K-1 petition yet and it will be a few months before i plan to. My question is this. When it comes time to provide proof of financial stability what will they accept as proof. My reason for asking is, i make more than enough money but most of my income is in the form of tips and my true financial status is not reflected on my pay check stubs. It would be no problem to just start claiming everything that i make and have it show on my stubs. Would this be all that i need to do? If so i will start doing that now so i can go ahead and start saving stubs. Will they look at the year to date or look at the amount of each check that i submit and average it out? If this wont work what do i need to do? Are they going to want to see past w2s? If so i will be screwed.

If your just sponsoring your fiance $17,500 is enough. You will need to provide a letter of employment, 6months pay check stub copy and W2 income tax for 3 years. Any extra income that you would like to use you need a proof....

You will add your mom to the household count.

The state department website will give you the poverty guidline info. Take into consideration the number of peopke living in the household and 125% above the guidline.

I received a AOS Letter and Choose of Address, Agent today in my email. I noticed that my middle name is incorrect. Has anyone have encounter this problem. Should i go ahead and pay for the AOS Bill and call the NVC tomorrow to correct my middle name or should i wait till they correct my middle name. its just one letter it should letter O instead it was letter D. Can someone share if we have the same issue. Thank you....

Go ahead and pay the bill and call NVC tomorrow with the corrections. The bill is paid through your case number. The same thing happened with my wife and me, there were discrepencies on her address when the Choice of Agent DS-3032 was generated. We just paid the bill and I called an NVC operator to make the changes. No problem. Also later, when paying eitir the AOS or the IV Petition bill, I had to call to change my wife's name, because all her ID at that point had been changed to reflect her new married last name. Once again, no problem, and it didn't interfere with or slow down the process at all.

I finally got my email just now!!! I was a bit worried for a while since mine seemed to be a bit on the late side, but its been approved now!! So Im thrilled!

I been calling NVC since i received the I-797 Notice. But Finally today i called the NVC again and i already have case no... yahoo.. thank god. I thought i had to wait for 90 days.... Good luck to everyone.... Try calling NVC everytime day. That's what i did....
