    Sorry that was very unclear. Cousins husband is a usc (cousins husband is son of mother in law), gosh this is sounding like a riddle now! She wants to move back but wants to be able to travel back and forth to Sierra Leone, but has committed to spending more time in the states.

    Hi all! Hope everyone is well. Quick question : my cousins mother in law (women in her 70s) abandoned her green card. It expired about 5 years ago and she has been out of the country for about a decade. She said she had plans to come back, but she didn’t. She was unwell for some time, Ebola hit, Covid hit, I don’t think she has a reason that can excuse ten years though. my cousin wants to know what would be best option to have her mother in law come back - have her husband who is a us citizen file for her - have mother in law apply for a tourist visa - apply for sb1 (returning resident) visa thanks for thoughts!
