  1. It appears once they've ordered card production in theory your online status should change and if you've signed up for e-mails/text messages you will get a couple of alerts saying its ordered and mailed.

I'm paranoid too, but not about them changing their minds, more that the case is sat somewhere with card production forgotten about...

Ugh come on card production! :help:

exactly my thoughts  getting sooooo paranoid :crying:

  2. The card production delays seem to be random and seem to be just those of us approved In April who found out we were approved by mail. I'm not sure if they had computer problems in April, but those of us stuck waiting for our cards have had no online updates and our cases still say "initial review" online.

wow I am not alone then. I got approved on April 18th and still no card:( and no update online. I am getting a little paranoid even had a crazy thought that USCIS played a prank on me

  3. Congrats! For some reason (USCIS computer problems perhaps) all of us (i've seen) who have been approved in the last 2 weeks have found out by mail with no online updates, so you're in good company. I was approved on April 10th and my online status still says initial review. Actually so does my I-130 which was approved over two years ago and others too. They're not always the best at updating things online.

While my approval letter came from CSC on watermarked paper others have receieved theres on regular paper from Nebraska.

thanks for reassuring me :) now my joy has no constraints

Another white-paper-from-Nebraska approval here! At first I was worried it might be a RFE late in the process. As my jittery hands hastily opened the envelope, I could immediately see and feel the cheap and thin paper. Guessing that approvals come on the nice letterhead stock that I had received in past communications, I feared the worst.

you described exactly what I felt this morning when opening the envelope :D

  4. Hi guys!

I hope someone will help me with this: my friends are applying for business visa, as far as I understand someone in the US sends them an invitation to come to the States.Let's say this someone lives in Washington. But my friends want also visit other states while in the US. Can they travel around the states having this visa? Is it OK for them to start their trip in the US entering the state other than Washington?

  5. Dr. Arnold did retire in November this year and I wish him well. I was one of the last to use his I 693 services (early Nov.). We are in Florida and had no issues.

Anyone know of a similiar USCIS doc that will transcribe shot records through the mail? I do not need but there are many behind us that do. Our AOS is in the works and has been transferred to the California center. Rumor has it that is a good sign! Biometrics was a breeze.

    Merry Christmas all

are you sure you wont get RFE later? We also used dr.Arnold in early Nov. and every day now I am waiting for RFE

  6. I'd still try Dr. Arnold in Texas if you have problems getting a reasonable CS in your area.

Last I heard he was still doing the trip for $30 .

Someone recently reported they had problems with using him from a IO at their interview.

I don't know what the trip for using him is now.

i spoke to Dr. Arnold's receptionist today, they are not taking anymore AOS medical stuff as Dr Arnold is retiring

    I read it here

  7. I just got my RFE and it's the I-693.

I know there are many who have their GC now using the service of Dr. Arnold. I am not against him because he offered just $30 for his service.

In my case, I sent my I-693 1st page to Dr. Arnold but my middle name was incorrect so I immidiately informed them but it was already sent back to me, so I sent it back to his office to change it. They changed the 1st page, but not the other pages.

I gave an explanation letter with my sealed envelop but still I have my RFE. But I still thumbs up to Dr. Arnold. This post is not against him.

    Thanks

Hi! sorry for your RFE,I am sure everything gonna be OK. by the way, what did RFE say exactly?does USCIS require you to go to a different CS?

  8. I just used Dr. Arnold about a week ago and got it back yesterday, but I was just reading another post from someone earlier today who contacted his office and was told he's retiring and not doing it anymore. I know there is some issues with his I-693's being done through the mail and not in person. I sent my AOS package in without the I-693 after trying unsuccessfully to get the vacc transcribed. I am continuing to contact other CS in Wisconsin to see if there is one that might actually do it.

it's here. I also used dr.Arnold's services to transcribe vaccinations but now I regret-not because his service was bad-on the contrary it was fast and cheap, but because some IO finds it illegal now

  9. Wait and see. They have been very clear that JB hasn't done anything wrong, so the worst that will happen is an RFE. Also, many people are still getting approvals with Arnold, so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

However, for people just filing, perhaps more effort to find a local CS is prudent (that's what we are doing).

yeah I suppose we only have to wait. God thats gonna be frustrating
