  1. In order to fix USCIS I suggest that Nancy Pelosi draft a 1,000 page piece of legislation that will include protection for the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse, limit green house gas emissions from Al Gore's Jumbo Jet, mandate health care for USCIS employees, place a 5% surcharge on the USCIS Directors income, channel funding to ACORN etc. On page 987 will be a paragraph that states that the USCIS Director can at his discretion increase fees to improve efficiency. This legislation can be passed without Republican support and by arm-twisting the Democratic Majority in the House and Senate. President Obama will sign it if he knows nobody has actually read it.

  2. Section 319b of the INA allows for an alien whose US citizen spouse is regularly stationed abroad to qualify for naturalisation without residing in the USA for 3 years. Generally, it is available to individuals that are married to someone stationed abroad either with a US company, or an international organisation, (can be religious) that has a presence in the United States. The condition "regularly stationed" abroad is indicated to mean that the US citizen spouse will be abroad for at least a year from the time of alien's interview. Another requirement is that ultimately the alien and US citizen intend to reside in the USA after the overseas assignment is complete.

    Here's an explanation of the eligibility;

  3. It doenst matter if your divorce is not final for you to meet her in the Philippines. Suggest your bring along the G325a forms and have them completed and signed by her while you are there. This will save you alot of time later. Also, document your visit with alot of photos. Keep copies of hotel receipts, airline tickets as evidence of meeting. If you have never been to the Philippines you are in for a great experience.

  4. Suggest you use an online postal box address for your USCIS mail. I use www.earthclassmail.com. They will give you a street address in Oregon that you can give to USCIS. You can view all your mail online and direct them to either forward it or they will open and scan it for you. It's $20 a month. You can also receive UPS and FEDEX at their address. Plus you have the added benefit of not paying sales tax since the address is in Oregon.

  5. Get your SSN before you get married. They will give a SSN to a Fiance but will not give to you once married until you adjust your status. It will have a stamp on it that it is not valid for employment but at least you can file tax returns and get bank account established. My wife was denied her SSN after we got married because they said her K1 status was no longer valid.

  6. The Obama administration is going to announce soon an Amnesty program for illegals. If I were you I would wait and not leave the US until details of the program are clear. Once you are legalized you can apply for welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing and maybe work part time as a community organizer registering democratic voters for the next election. Make sure you get a social security card so that in the future you can draw benefits. Dont worry about working, the American taxpayers will take care of you. You Sir, are entitled to the fruits of other peoples labor!

  7. It sounds to me like she is trying to provoke a response out of you so that she can file a domestic violence complaint. Then she doesn't need you to remove conditions on her green card. Whatever you do, don't buy a house. She may eventually be living in it without you and you will be court ordered to pay the mortgage.
