My wife's N400 application was rejected based on "Home Address Field Not complete". Well it was ALL complete. We scanned and sent to our Senators Office and they contacted the lockbox. My wife received e-mail saying accepted and being forwarded to the NBC. It has been 20 days and still no NOA. I checked the receipt number/application number sent in the e-mail and it is different than the NBC* application number on the original rejection letter. Is this Normal - the application number changing like that? I can track the NBC* number that was on the rejection letter and it still says they rejected it. On Case Status the new NBC* that USCIS e-mailed us is not recognized. Up until now the process has been somewhat a breeze..Now in the home stretch it is seemingly getting worse.

We did file INA 319(b) as I am overseas on government orders and I have seen similar rejection notices from folks filing as we. But the application number change and no NOA yet worries me. Will call tomorrow but wondering if anyone else had this happen.

I'm doing the same for the Government Finance and Accounting. I work for the man and I had an issue when i moved back from Korea last year. In January i got a letter from them saying i owe $2000! The i thought I got it resolved as I got another letter saying problem fixed. All of a sudden 3 weeks ago they start taking $250 per pay period out of my check! No notice and nine months after it was fixed. YIPPIE. So I have been going in circles! Today I found the director and deputy's names and I put a dot between the first and last and then @ the agency they work for! I hope this jolts the sons a bitches!

I had an terrible day at work yesterday however I checked my case status tonight before I left for the evening and i saw that i had a touch. When I clicked on the petition number and the web page opened I saw the words I have been waiting for for so long.

On October 28, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So i will go out on a limb and say to the rest of the Julyers this is our week! As long as the paperwork is in order the NOA2's should be processed! I will keep you in my prayers tonight.

Well, I am really at a loss of words. It is disheartening to see folks who received NOA1 dates after others get to the NOA2. Great for them but wrong in principal. I was reading another thread where a guy got a NOA2 in 75 days and he is unemployed and indicated as such in the 129F petition he filed! SO......My fervor of expectation when we approached October has now waned and like the autumn - my leaves of excitement have withered and have fallen to the ground. It's a numbers game and any touches or e-mails will be met with cautious optimism. M and F= I feel ur pain! Jewel/Rough = ur almost there! OK Folks - I promised an update. Recall I sent an e-mail to the DHS person a friend of mine sort of knows. Below is the edited text of the e-mail I sent.

My name is William Rogers and I am an employee of U.S. Civil Service. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me regarding my 129F

Petition submittal. My understanding is that the USCIS reviews and addresses these types of petitions on a case by case basis and in the order they are received.

BACKGROUND:

1. I submitted a completed 129F petition w/check on 18 July 2009 to the California Service Center.

2. My NOA1 date is July 22, 2009 and review time is still within the 5 month goal.

3. My Receipt Number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

4. I prepared my submission in accordance with the preference outlined in the Instructions for 129F Petition for Fiancée printed by your organization.

5. To date I have NOT received a request for Further Evidence (RFE).

6. To date I have not noticed that my 129F has been touched by your agency other than acknowledging receipt and cashing check. I gather this from the USCIS website "Case Status" Section.

CONCERN:

1. I track peoples K-1 visa process on various websites. I have since confirmed that the CSC has APPROVED petitions (non-expedited requested and

non-military) that have NOA1 dates beyond mine. Clearly this is not the order in which they are received.

Can you explain this to me? I am concerned mine is lost!

2. If during this process we are still in the background check stage (and if I understand correctly this is a background check for me at this time) for national security - this should be easy... I work for the Department of Defense and do not present a national security threat. Same for my fiancée

- She worked on a U.S. Army post in Korea and she too had to get checked out.

I understand that DHS Immigration and DoD are separate agencies but I think we are "checked out (for lack of better terminology)"

Perhaps by the time you receive this I will have my NOA2 - but if not is there anything I can do to speed this up? Can you tell me why others with

later NOA1 dates have been processed?

I would also like to have the name and contact information of a U.S. Government Employee, not a contractor, that can assist me in my query.

I respect the Mission and Core values of the USCIS. I too have to operate under similar principals with a strong emphasis on customer service as I

serve the members of the armed forces.

Please respond concisely to my questions - look into this as I am concerned my 129F is missing or please tell me if I can clarify any concern.

No touch, no nothing. So I have a friend at DHS and he got me the immigration chief of some section in Washington. I e-mail him from my Government e-mail address and recite thier mission statement as well as the piece in the charter that talks about in order and case by case. I ask him why then are 129F petitions that are non expedited and non military getting to the NOA2 before petitions that have earlier NOA1 dates. These approved 129F's are clearly not first in line! I told him i was concerned that mine was lost. I'm curious if I get a response and if i do what sort of response. OR maybe they'll call CSC and say ####### is going on! Anyway still withing the 5 months but still - the way they are processing goes against what they state...

I think the minds of the 50% left may be wandering such as mine? I put together a nice little packet and tabbed it on the bottom so even a 5th grader could understand it. It looked nice and the information presented was in good standing per the requirements of the 129F instructions.

I'm sure everyone's c***s are quite lovely!!! At the time of posting I was just pissed that someone came in and posted that they got their NOA2 at 66 days and then proceed to tell everyone else to remember that the process is SUPPOSE to be long. I thought that was an unfair thing to say. I have the tendancy to try and hand people a glass of STFU when I think they are being d***s.

Like you I'm worried about the stupid things from the past as well. (Or is this just you making fun of me??) There was an incident that involved three cops from three different cities showing up to arrest me for smoking. That's what happens sometimes when you get pulled over in my small town. That's a fun story , but one I hope doesn't matter to the gubberment since I was underage.

I have already gotten NOA2, but have now been told my file is being held for an undefined amount of time at NVC. This is the part where criminal issues might come up according to what I've seen on VJ. If you haven't already, refer to the threads where people with felonies and other issues are able to petition for and get their fiance(e)s here. It happens, it just sometimes takes longer.

Ok, time to start cheering for the remaining posters here to get NOA2s!! This week HAS to be good!!!

Mostly, I view all of your posts to determine where I am in theis process both in time and state of mind. Many of you folks make the time bearable for me as i see all of the happiness and frustrations and all share in one way or the other. Me...I usually add a bit here and there. The place where 1+1 = 0, clocks tick backwards and fruit flies are the dominant specie on this planet. 50% of us July CSCers have made it to the long awaited infamous NOA2. NOA1 dates need not apply. Some Late Julyiers = beginning of October and the Some early Juliers nothing to date.

Last Christmas I was invited (as usual) to my friends parents for Christmas. However a family known as the Obamas were vactioning next door to my friends parents. So 2 weeks before they submitted a list of the names of family and friends who visit frequently. This was so we would all get Secret Service security checks to see if we present a national security threat. So know my mind wonders if for some reason that set up a red flag to the immi's!!! No, Marie. It doesn't seem fair. Like I said to you before, I think they should be judging the couple and the app, not the country. And even if it is a country where there have been fraud issues, it seems like once they have it in their hands, it MIGHT take another day, maybe two. Not two months. I don't get it, and I hate it with you. I want to believe you'll be the one to break the five month Lebanon rule. and people will say "It might not take 5 months, I heard about this one girl, Marie, who got hers in 3 months."

It definitely takes its toll on a relationship. This last week Neil and I didn't have a whole lot to say to each other because we were obsessed with this. All I can say is try to remember the things you talked about before all of this insanity. The things that made you fall in love with him. My sister told me not to lose sight of WHY I was doing this, while I was waiting. It helped me remember the big picture and make an effort to be kind to him, to talk about other things. (even though that's the HARDEST thing EVER!!)

Jewel-io, yes. we should DEFINITELY all meet up when we are all through to the other side. Neil's dying to drive out west. See the country. We're going to be having our big reception sometime next spring or summer. Maybe we'll get Vegas trip cash. B)

I told them the court has it get if from them as they wont give it to magie and oh by the way how do you folks at the NSO think she got an approved divorce from the PI courts! As far as a Halloween celebration goes, I will force some sort of celebration here. Halloween is not a part of the norwegian culture so I'm a REAL oddball for doing anything regarding it. It's important to Wade that our little boy has both the norwegian and american culture well intact so... off to hunt down some sort of a Halloween celebration, LOL! It will be a real cultural shock to me to actually witness a real Halloween celebration next year, but I'm really looking forward to it. Same with thanksgiving and valentine's day. I hear ya! I'm a NOA1 date of 22 July and I am beginning to get a little anxious! All there NOA2's from various dates in July! concur...Come on CSC. PS Not a touch since day 1

It's so frustrating. I had my interview on September 25th and the CO told

me that before she will approve me I should submit 1 additional document

(divorce decree) of my fiance. I submitted it via air21, and the embassy

received it Sep.29th. Although the divorce decree was already included in

the original I-129 petition, the prescreener said that the NVC did not send

yet my papers to them although they sent me the letter that I can schedule

my interview. Maybe they lost my papers because they scheduled me Sep.22nd

for my interview, but then when I went there to window Y they told me that

my file was not yet in their system. She just wrote 25th on my embassy

appointment letter. I had to rebook my flight to Cebu because my interview

was rescheduled.

My fiance already called the embassy twice and got the standard answer of

wait 6 weeks. He emailed also but no clear answer of when I can have my

visa.

We were in the same situation as you you a couple of months ago. The co told my wife that her annulment papers looked fake. We brought all the papers they asked us to . We had the final decision, decree of annulment and annotated marriage certificate. The CO told her that she want to see all the court paper to include all the trial paper work. We gave it to them 2 days later it was like 80 pages. It took them 4 weeks to approve the visa so just hang in there. It is going to be a hard couple of weeks, because the feeling is going to be oooo so clase but yet so far. Tell your fiancee to call DOS every couple of days, and to call usem in manila once a week. When i was in your situation i was calling DOS everyday and USEM every 2 days. AS you already know your hubby had to buy a pin number to call USEM. When i called i used the same pin number over 20 times (they say it only works 3 times). So tell him to keep trying to use the pin thast he already bought and not buy a new one until they say it does not work.

Wow! I feel for you. Was the CO American/Pinoy American/or Pinoy? Just curious. We are in a bit of a situation too. Magie (Filipina) gave all her divorce paper work originals to the court. The PI Court approved her Petition for recognition of foreign divorce. They gave her copies of everything. Now the NSO wont give her annotated mc because they want original. And the DFA same but they got the original from the PI embassy in Korea! I'm really beginning to dislike the system in the Philippines. It seems nobody trust anything and money talks! Good Luck!

I would think that if a certain amount that doesnt appear excessive is sent and a trend is establshed that in itself wouldnt cause alarm. It does show intent of support and adds to proof of an ongoing relationship. If thats it - get an immi attorney and sue the bastards! Many of us help out our sweethearts. For example in PI my fiance is trying to complete some paperwork with the NSO and DFA. Her employer didnt want her to take days off to do this so she left. I am so sad and desperate that no one was able to give me any advice or tip on my other post i posted this morning intitled Urgent Help.

I think people get tired of reading my post so here i am again trying to make the story short, hoping someone can help.

We just got an RFE on the I-130 we filed for my kids(USC husband is the petitioner).

The documents USCIS asked from us is the Annullment/Death decree and foreign language documents.

Here is the scenario:

Petitioner - my usc husband

Benefeciary- my kids as his stepchildren

Entered in 2007 in K1 visa

Name of the kid's father is on the kid's Birth Certificate but was not married to the ex.

My questions are:

1.How will I get an annullment decree when in the first place i was never married to the kid's father? Cenomar proved that when I applied for my K1?

2.How will i get a death decree when i don't even know if the ex is still alive or don't evenknow his whereabouts. He was out of the picture since our 2nd child was born in 2001.?

3. USCIS wants a proof/document that the marriage between me and ex was terminated? What documents do i need to submit to USCIS to prove that we were not married?

4. Am i right that i don't need a foreign language documents since any documents iw ill submit to USCIS is in English language?

5. My kids was able to get their philippine passport by just showing the latest (august2009) CENOMAR.My Certificate of no marriage shows no previous marriages but my marriage to my husband now who is the petitioner?

6.What proof do i need to show the terminated marriage between me and ex? We are not married but his name was onthe Kid's Birth certificate as the father and there was the place and date of marriage (FAKE).

Please help me.I need your advice on what to do?thanks in advance very much.

That's ok.. this forum can be a bit strange sometimes.

I did some quick calculations on the 20 NOA2 that came in last week. I threw out the military expedite and the December filers because I consider them to be 'outliers'.

The average time between NOA1 and NOA2 was just under 85 days. The average mail date was 6/28, the average NOA1 date was 7/8.

The median, meaning the number or date in the middle of the data, was 84.5 days between NOA1 & NOA2. medium mail date 7/6, median NOA2 date 7/9.

The mode, which means most common occurance, was 85 days between NOA1 & NOA2.

ALTHOUGH the dates keep saying 85 days and I should have NOA2 by the 14th, I am hoping that NOA2 comes sooner.

This is not a bash anyone thread.. It is a genuine question if missing something in the culture. I am embarrassed to even ask this.

I give my fiancée 300 american dollars for support each month. It is never enough though. I realize 300 a month is not a great deal, but should be enough to live on or am I way off here? It is starting to really hurt our relationship at this point because within 15 days she has gone through the 300 this month, and asking for more even though have asked her to budget money since I am sadly not a rich man. Aaaaaand... there are only 60 or so June filers (on Igor's, obviously, not total) compared to the nearly 100 May filers.

So I'm hoping this pace keeps up and they fly right through them.

Agreed! I filed on 18 July and received NOA 23 July. From the beginning of this entire process I committed myself to be patient. Very patient. I don't check as frequent as most but I remain optimistic that September (end of) or beginning of October will be the month for the NOA 2. Now I work for the Fed Govt and I'm hoping that Fed Workers at the CSC are back from their summer vacations and things may speed up. In addition the Fed fiscal year is coming to an end and if they have quotas to meet I sure am hoping the zoom through whats left!
