stop it with the snail mail 1st that is my job and the mail is my pay check so more ppl need to mail

2nd i mailed my honey a card by MAIL at 6:00pm on monday june 1st and he recieved it today june 6th at 9:30am wow that was fast

You are free to visit her, just ensure you have evidence you will return and DONT lie about anything. Be clear that you are visiting your fiancee but you are returning to work/study etc and that you have filed for a VISA to have her marry you in the USA.

Unfortunatly the K1 Visa is a single entry visa and once she has it in her passport she will NOT be allowed to visit the USA. if she does the Visa will be used up and you will have to get married before she can leave.

One thing to be VERY careful of is once that K1 Visa is used she should not leave the USA AT ALL under any circumstances until she has her Ajustment of status completed. Exceptions to this are emergancies where you file for her to leave before she actually leaves the US border and if you file for permission to leave and re-enter seperatly (takes about 3 months to come in after you send in the required forms and is valid for 12 months, as with work permit)

I am Mark and I am a Uk national with a forign fiancee in the USA. Grace (my fiancee) has petitioned succesfully for an NAO2 which rwe recieved on March 25th and I now have gathered all of my materials ready for the interview. However I am very confused as to what to send in, and what to bring along. If I understand correctly it is as follows:

A. Send completed forms DS 156 (signed), DS 156k (signed), DS 157 (signed), DS 230 (unsigned) to the Immigrant Visa Unit, 5 Upper Grosvenor Street, London W1A 2JB

B. Seperatly send the IV-15 form stating that I am ready for the interview

C. Go for my medical (Calling for an appointment on Monday)

D. Bring to interview:

Passport (old and new)

2x Visa sized photo

Medical Certificate

Police Certificate

My Birth Certificate + a copy to hand in

Her Berth certificate + 1 copy to hand over

Affedavid of support

2x Copy of I129F petition package:

I129F application copy

Proof of relationship

-photos

-plane ticket stubs + photocopies

-old & new passport with stamps/visa's from previous visits + photocopies

-confirmation in writing of intent to marry by Grace

1. Is this correct and completed? I originally thought I had to only send in the checklist and bring everything including the completed DS230, 156, 156k forms to the interview - I havd read much conflicting information on this!

2. Do I need any aditional evidence of the relationship etc at this point?

3. Will i require any further copies of everything. I read somewhere that you need 4 copies (1 for grace, 1 for me, 1 to send for NAO2 1 to take to interview) but Ive also heard people recommend having a fifth copy to hand over at the point of entry, is this necesary?

4. Do I need to make any aditional payment at the interview, and how much?

5. Should I be concered that the NAO2 expires on the 25th of July: thats less than 2 months from now?

6. Should I make copies of the DS 230, 156, 156k, 157 to take to the interview?

7. Have I made too many copes of anything? It all appears very excessive if you ask me!

Trying to squeese everything into one post, but Im sure there will be more to come.

I tried to register an account "watkinson.m.a" with my gmail address on the forums. However when i clicked the email link to complete registration it said there was no user with those details:

The same occured if I used the alternative link and copied and pasted the codes.

The email forums@visajourney.com mailbox is full so i was unable to send an email to get get any help with the problem! Any attempt to meail forums@visajourney.com returns an email from th Mail Delivery System: mailbox is full: retry timeout exceeded.

I wound up registering an alternative account with a different username and email and it worked. Any chance someone could lookat these two problems (full mailbox & registration issue)
