  1. Are you following any shortcut or guide from Visa Journey?

This is a very good guide, and it will answer all your questions: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

And just so you know there is no difference between the forms, I think the DS 3032 is the only one that comes with a bar code, but if you read that Guide you can make your own barcode and send with the form, that's what I did and it worked out fine. But anyway you don't need that anymore, the rest of the forms you will need you can download from the travel state.gov site, they usually have the last updated forms.

If you read that guide I linked you will see how we do to send the forms. :)

    Good luck. :)

when emaling the ds 3230, did you complete the form, scaned it and attached to an email. Or did you use the format from quick guide..how long did it take to get a response. thank you

  2. Hello everyone. When someone takes the K3 route, what happens to the cr1 interview at the consulate. Is it cancelled or can one go back to the consulate for the cr1 interview and not have to deal with the AOS in the US. I am thinking about going the k3 route since my cr1 is scheduled 7 months later. Now i just want to know after going for k3 interview can I keep the cr1 interview and return to my country 7 months later for that interview. Please if you have taken this path please please share your experience. If anyone has any comments or advise please share...thank you

  3. Hello all. I need help. My wife and I have finally received approval notice for both k3 and cr1. We have read over and over again that it much more beneficial to drop the k3. Our problem is, I am schedule to take an exam in the US which the date would expire if I cancel k3 and waited for cr1. My question is what happens to the cr1 interview f i go with k3. I mean can i accept the k3 and later on go back to consulate for cr1. I have read somewhere that few people go back to consulate..... I am trying to avoid AOS..sounds so complicated.Any information that will clarify this matter is highly appreciated...thanks

I am the one who got K3 visa this march and then came back to my country for my CR-1 visa- and it wasnt complicated, and at my second interview the consul wasnt surprised that i came back to get my CR-1. Good luck!!!

Hi Kseinya-md.. i hope you dont mind but could you give me more details on the process and the experirnce for you interms of notifying any relevant authorities and the process since I was always under the impression that one had to go either CR1 vs K3 path

  5. Hello LGG, I was wondering if you could work me through as to what to do next cos the info looks pretty overwhelming ..I'd like to know what steps to take now as my petition was approved on the 15th of July.

Why do I fill the DS 3032 if the NVC gets to send the same form with the barcode..I am a little(really) confused with it all and how does the DS 3032 get emailed i.e with the ossues of signature, my hubby isny here with me.....

    thanks

  6. Hello all VJers, I want you all to join me in thanking God as my petition for both the I-130 and I 129-F were miraculously approved...But I would like to know what the next step(s) to be taken and anything I can do to minimise any mistakes as well as facilitate the process.. thank you ..for everyone waiting still, please be steadfast and believe..This process ia a test of mental strength.

  7. Hello Vjers, I hope you are all doing good.

i have posted this a little before now but I am yet to get a solution which is why i am doing this again.

The USCIS sent NOA 1 dated 26th Nov 2008 for the I130 and 3rd Dec 2008 for the I129f but I am yet to get a response from them, am I the only one in these shoes and what is probably the problem as its obvious we are beyond the expected processing timeframe does it have anything to do with the country of origin of my husband?

repeated calls to the USCIS office have been met with generic responses and I am awaiting contact formt he congressmans office..what do i do next?...should i be concerned?

Yes I would get worried..... I also filed an I-130 Oct24, 2008 and I129-f Nov 17, 2008, and still no approval I have gotten my local congressman involved I think you should do the same and call the USCIS and have a service request put on your case to find out why they are taking so long....

207 days since receipt of NOA 1 and counting, still no response, congresswoman contacted, no word from her too...would the fact that i ma a naturalized US citizen also be a factor in the delay? anyone

  9. Hi Vjers, I have been a passive member of the forum but now i feel compelled to be active and ask for some advice as I filed the i130 for my husband on nov 18th 2008 and got the NOA 1 dated the 26th of Nov 2008 while the NOA 1 for the i129 was dated the 3rd of Dec 2008 but i have not got a response as yet and my call to the 1 800 number was received by an operative who requested me to call back in 30 days if i still did not get a response..

Does anybody have any suggestions as to the next line of action?..will be much appreciated
