I just received an email confirmation of my approval of I 485 2 years later!!! I even have my 10 year card, what doe it mean? Is it just a glitch in the system? Seems weird. Anybody else got this recently? 2for2

Hi. Finally!!! I got my Bio date today, after 2 months from filling and a Service Request almost a month ago, I am planning on doing an early walk in just to get it out of the way. Thanks everybody for all your help!!

Hi. i just received an email from USCIS today regarding the Service Request I placed a couple of weeks ago. It states:

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

Do you think I will be getting a Bio date soon? Hope so. Just wanted to share this with everyone. Best, 2for2.

Congrats Filipina66. I also put a Service Request, 2 weeks ago today, Still no letter. I am probably going to wait to see if it arrives today, if it doesn't then I will call back later today. Does anybody have any idea why we(NOA dated june 22nd) have not received the bio letter, Weird because we all share the same NOA date, in the begining I thought it was a VSC thing, but I am the only one who sent it there, Just_Bob, Taho and Kappa sent it to CSC. Good to see an approval already though. 2for2

Hi. I call that number today, twice. The second time I was able to place a service response, asking the Vermont service center when I would receive the appointment, the operator got my phone number, email address and my street address, I am guessing, going by the timeline of somebody else who did the same thing that I will get the letter next week. I noticed that the applications received on the 22nd of June are yet to receive the biometrics letter, I dont think it is a coincidence, Could it have something to do with it being a Saturday? Who knows? Hope we will get it very soon. Best, 2for2

Maybe double check the address you used on the I-751 just to make sure it is correct?

Hi. I had to call twice. The first person told me not to worry since there were still 141 days left for a response. I was not satisfied with that answer and called back a second time, this time the a different operator said that since it had been more than 30 days I could put a Service request, which I did. I am supposed to get an answer either via email or regular mail. I will keep you posted. Thanks.

Hi. I received my I 751 Receipt notice today June 29th. I sent the package on the 21st, arrived on the 22nd, the notice states receipt date as the 22nd. Seems they are working fast, I sent a Money Order rather than a check. Now waiting for the biometrics appointment, hope is soon. The notice is quite long and also gives instructions to send evidence if you have not done so, this is news to me as I thought you HAD to include the evidence with the application. Thansk you all!

We are filing as well this week. What we did was make color photocopies of complete pages from the scrapbooks as my wife would not let me take the pictures out, .48 cents a copy at kinkos, each page has 2 pictures on average, some with captions and dates, copies are extremely good quality.

Hi. Thanks for all the posts. Finally we are going to file I 751 tomorrow, with about 75 days left in our 90 day window, some delay waiting for some insurance papers, new AAA cards and affidavits from friends and family. Here is a list of the items included, we will write the cover letter tonight, punch all the holes and get this out tomorrow. So far this thing is about 1" thick plus the pictures, we actually reduced it by redoing some of the copies of statements on both sides of paper, as for the cell phone bills we are sending copies of the contracts and copies of the first page of Sprint, and a couple of pages from Verizon as they would not put both names on the statements but they show inside. Any comments will be greatly appreciated at this time, about the order of things or anything else.

-Money order

-Color Copy of my Residency card

-Copy of Driver licenses showing same address

-Transcrip of Joint Tax Returns for 2006, 2007, 2008

-Joint Checking account, Bank letter showing when the account was oppened, we are also including a couple of random statements for each year

-Joint Savings account, same as above

-3 Credit cards on both our names with a couple of bills for each year for each card

-Joint Title of 3 cars, 2 we still own, 1 we donated to Salvation army in 2008

-Copy of Car Insurance covering the span of our marriage, and copies of some of the old cards we found.

-Proof of IRA and IRA CD showing wife as beneficiary

-Cell Phone Family Plan and Internet access

-Life Insurance showing wife as beneficiary

-Family Accident Insurance

-Humana Dental Insurance, copy of old cards and this year renewal letter

- Cell Phone Family Plan and Internet access

-AAA, Costco and BJ's Cards

-We have 4 affidavits, will probably send 2

-Cable bills on my name, A couple of Vet bills on my wife's name showing same address

-Joint Magazines renewal forms showing address

-Copy of reminder Letter from USCIS

-Copy of IRS Stymulus Letter

-We are also including about 20 pages of pictures with about 2 pictures per page, I tried to keep it to a minimun but my wife did not let me take the pictures out of the albums so we ended up making color photo copies of some of the pages.

My name was not on our mortgage as well, I just state in my cover letter and I got approved.You should be fine.Good luck.

You shouldn't put NONE for your wifes middle name.

When I applied for Adjustment of Status I put NONE for my middle name ( because I dont have it) so they took it for my real middle name and put it on my approval letter. Very stupid. I recommend to put "-------" then its clear that there is no middle name.

Question number 2, My wife does not have a middle name, Should we leave empty? N/A? In our marriage certificate they wrote NMN(might be a little confusing), we could also do a line, Third question is about Part 4, My wife uses her last name, hyphen, my last name, should we use this or her maiden name? You should not leave anything blank. Fill in N/A when it's Not Applicable (as in the case of the C/O) and None where it makes sense (as in Q2 asking for her middle name).

I don't know what you mean about Part 4 since I don't have the form open in front of me, sorry.
