many many congratulations....everybody waits here...I have filed for the removal of conditions in April2008 based on one of the waivers but nothing till NOW....so you can imagine.....

I filed on july 2008, trasferred on august 26th 2009 to csc, aproved on may 7th, got aproval letter today dated june 10th.

Here is the story, i was frustrated over how long this thing is draging, i called customer services and they filed a service inquiry, only to to receive a letter today saying that i was aproved on may 7th. They didnt bother to send it till i made the iquiry.

For whoever is still hanging there and who feel that they have been forgotten about, call uscis and make a service inquiry. It might be some good news waiting for their, and its just uscis systems or even customers service is not updated.

just hang in there guys we waited for years u could make few more days or weeks, do not let this frustrate. I know its hard but thats the only way to deal with it

I filed the I-751 on july of 17th of 2008 to remove the condition on my green card, Transferred to CSC on feb 26th of 2009. Got the transfer notice and an online touch on march 1st 2009 , i belive when they got the transfer, and since then no update neither by mail or email.

called theme twice the first time they said that im still not outside the 6months frame time (from feb 26th) and the second time they said that iam outside the time frame and they filed me a service request!!! DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE??

Does any one knows if they actually respond to these service requests and how long it takes theme to do so?

is there people still waiting for the majesty of uscis decision from feb or early marchy transfers?

We have an appointment for the 19th. I have seen people get a notice in the past saying it was transferred to the local office, only to receive a letter saying they were approved with no interview. I don't care, I just want my husband to get his 10 year card because I have been sick. I am also close to calling my senator.

I would rather see us have an interview soon. If we got selected for one, it is because they screwed up on our address change wrong and it looked like we were living different places.

what you could do is just pop up at your local office and ask about your case, they give a way more accurate update on what stage ur case is than the uscis customer service.

I spoke to a national USCIS person who told me that my file was sitting in aisle A117 or something (I forgot the exact number). Since 10 months is outside of the processing window, she is going to submit an inquiry request and gave me a service #. She says they should get back to me with an answer within the next 45 days.

Has anyone gotten anything like this before? Is it worth waiting to hear from? I mean the reply for the inquiry...

Yes, I called them on June 3rd, and I got the letter on June 10 from my local District office saying that they recieved a reques on the status of my case. And they gave me an update of "you case is pending for interview schedule." But in between I got a letter from CSC saying that my case was sent to the local office, this letter was dated May 18 and maild to my old address. I had updated my address online in October but that did not do it so I sent them a complted form AR-11 yesterday, upon thier request.

I guess it depends on the Local office but mine took almost 2 months. I actually called USCIS after a long wait asking why my interview had not been scheduled yet. The guy on the phone was actually confused since he didnt even know it was to be scheduled in the first place. But in any case he sent an inquiry to the Local Office and within a week or so I received a response from the Newark, NJ office saying my "case is pending rescheduling". If you didnt get that dont worry cause I didnt the first time either.

However less than a week letter I got my interview letter scheduled for 06/25/2009. Don't know if the phone call helped but its worth a shot.

My i751 its really sucks!..its been waiting for 12 months nothing happen NO approval letter NO NOTHING EXCEPT biometrics and notice for transferred. i checked online case its said that RECEIVED but the case status nothing changes. and now i got my i551 stamp last month and they give me only until valid june coz my passport expired until june 09, i am freaking tired to wait my physical GC or any APRROVAL LETTER. now i when to immigration to get a new stamp and they didnt give me one . and they told me i have to renew my passport to get a new stamps, i dont understand why they didnt give me any letter about to my i751. i'm here in puerto rico its really slow the mail and everything.

how long i have to wait my i751 to received it? i told to my self i dont care if i didnt received the physical GC just only approval letter.

yes, I'm in the same situation. trasferred on feb 26th of 2009 and didnt hear a thing after. i called customer service and filed a service request, may be you could do the same.

there are 2 i guess still pending (feb transfers). may be they have not updated their status yet. there are few more like me (march 5th and march 10th) transfers. we all including you are out of the time frame at this time because everybody before and after us got approved. USCIS is just playing with us for fun!

I agree with you USCIS handling of cases is ridiculous. I can imagine how those you are hanging in the middle while the folks who applied before and after them got approved and are relieved and are waiting for the card.

I think those who applied Feb/March or even May/June 2008 whose application was not approved yet, should contact their Senator/Congressperson and ask for their Immigration expert/liaison to do an inquiry. Contacting a Senator/Congressperson is free without any charge. All they ask (I think) for is a privacy release form which they can email/fax to you and you can fill it and email/fax them back and check them once or twice a week about the case. Normally good Immigration expert/liaison tell you after release form submission that they will get back to you in a day or two and they do infact get back to you and tell you whats going on and some of them even ask USCIS why is your case not approved and your case should be expedited etc.

I have seen this on VJ a lot of folks whose case was out processing time contacting Senator/Congressperson did get them approval within a week or 2 after contacting them.

The problem is that for whoever was transferred like my self, accourding to UCSIS we are not out of processing time since it doesnt matter the filing date. What matter is the transferring date and from that date we can call ourselves out of processing time only after 6 moths of that, that's what they told me when i called their customer services.

I was transferred on feb 26th of 09 and entitled to apply for N400 since the past may, do you guys think its a good idea to file the N400 or should i just sit and wait for the I751 aproval? your thoughts would be helpful.

Thx for the link- the funny thing is that i dont see beside my self any feb 26th transfers. and most of feb transfers were aproved. i guess all what i can do is to just keep my fingers crossed and wait for whatever they are goin to throw on m.
