Hai Komang ... I just read your Hot Topic here, it's been long time I never open this site coz I am in US already

I will try to give you some information based on my experience, For interview actually you don't have to be there with ur wife because the officer in Embassy can speak Indonesia fluently. If you read my interview review in Indonesian Portal it's very ease as long as you sent all documents required to NVC. I bring all copies even the original & lots of wedding pictures but none of them was look by interviewer because we sent all documents that required to NVC before the interview in Embassy.

About the plane ticket, you can purchased it when your wife got the confirmation date for interview in Embassy ( this is if you want to be with her in Interview ) but if you just want to pick her up & flight together to US, buy the ticket after your wife finish interview & got white small paper to pick up her passport ( it's only took a week after the interview for her to get her visa in her passport )

For Indonesian Community, If you are stayed in Portland OR, don't worry ... there are lots of Indonesian women there, I know it because my hubby originally from Oregon in St Hellen exactly but now we are stayed in Seattle WA. If you like I can introduced your wife with my friend who live in St John Portland

This morning we had our interview for CR1 & CR2 visa, its so ease & relaxing for me & 2 of my girls.

The interviewer was a young beautiful American lady, she's so friendly and we speak with Indonesia language.

She only asked me a few questions like How you know your husband, where he is stay & for others ...

most of the time she was talking and joking with my girls. It's only take a few minutes then she give me

3 small papers for pick up our passport on Dec 22 next Tuesday. We are planing to flight on Dec 23, so we can spent our holiday as a whole family

For all Indonesia VJ Member, do not worry on your Interview Time .. It's ease and painless as long as you completed all documents they required

You may get a few extra questions about your short dating relationship, and meeting on a dating site, but with all the evidence you should be ok. It would be good if he can make a second trip to see you though, maybe to be there at the interview.

My husband can not come to company me at interview as he have to work that day, his holiday will start a day before X-mas ... Hope that time we already be together again.

I am on process of CR1 & Cr2 for 2 of my kids & next week we are going to have my Interview in US Embassy. I knew my Husband over the Dating site, after that we talk online Minimum 4 till 6 hours daily by Video Call in YM also he call me everyday to my cellphone or my homeland no.

We have this long distance dated for two & half months before He came to my country to marry me ( we not doing the engagement thing , directly marriage )

Now .. I am concerning about this matter, " Is it will be problem in my interview If the Consular knew about How we know each other & for how long before we got marriage this type Question ???? "

We do really Love each other so much & it's killing us to be apart like this (7,5 months already) when we already Husband & wife.

And for evidence that we have .. we keep most of our chat log, mails, telephone record, Our wedding/honeymoon pictures, we have share bank account ( he add my name in his account & give me a bank card with my name on it) also He put my name & my kids in his health insurance. Is it enough proof to bring at interview ?

Any advice for me before I go for my interview ??? Please ...............

I think you will be fine with your evidence. Do not worry too much about the online thing, it is not something unusual now fro someone to meet and get marry through that way. Just be calm and answer the questions in confidence. Good luck !

I am not so sure about your case, it will be problem or not on the interview latter on.

But ......... kalo mau cari amannya sebaiknya alamat yang di passport di ganti dengan yang di Surabaya.

Caranya ?? Gampang aja, minta tunanganmu ganti KTP dengan alamat Surabaya setelah itu pergi ke Immigrasi untuk minta di ganti alamatnya.

Nanti di Immigrasi mereka akan tanya kenapa, bilang saja untuk urusan Visa dan tunjukan KTP yang sudah di update. Immigrasi akan memberikan keterangan di salah satu halaman untuk Endorsement. Hal yang hampir sama saya lakukan untuk ganti nama di passport saya dengan nama family suami, hanya dengan modal Buku Nikah dan itu gratis tidak dikenakan biaya

Sebenarnya saya tidak tau persis apa beda alamat ini akan buat masalah dikemudian hari tapi sebaiknya kalo mau lebih jelas di tanyakan ke Consular section di Embassy ( itu lebih akurat informasinya )

Does anyone know how we can obtain a criminal record report from when my fiancee lived in Belgium and Czech Republic--I know they're going to ask for this during his interview--and we are starting to panic because we cannot locate any resources on the internet etc.

Dear Liam and Kara,

You can make the criminal record from the Embassy which your spouse have been lived before. Your spouse will need to summit the certified finger print from his local police and also a copy of his visa while he is in that country. Usually it will takes 1-3 months or even more, it depends on which country that you request.

What will be asked for at the NVC level is a notorized statement from the other parent allowing the Children to come to the us. This can be done at a notary place in your country. Try and get this soon as you will most likley get an RFE if it is not submitted to the NVC. It says this no where on the NVC documents requested but it is needed. Whether you have the divorce or not they still want to make sure the other parent agrees to the children coming to the US to live. Also you may want to check the exit requirements for the children to leave your country with only one parent. In Colombia they need a authorazation letter from the parents ( or one or the other ) to be able to board a plane if they are under 18.

I am newbie in this forum, I wish if someone can help to answer my question

Me and My Hubby just filled petition 1-130 for CR1 and CR2 for 2 of my daughters.

What I want to asked in this forum is Do I need custody documents for my daughters ??? since in my divorced certificated it is not mention at all about the children custody. It is a normal case in my country for the children custody goes to their mother. I just want to be prepared for all documents that will needed and the only one that I don't have is Custody documents

If I need to have that document, from where I can get it ???
