Our Story
We met via a penpal website. I was just coming out of a relationship, where I was engaged to a guy who didn't want me to be who I was. Well finally after talking to Matthew by emails and on the phone, he decided to come over and visit. Well at first he told me he had a job interview that he had to come to and he was going to be here anyways. Well now the truth finally sets him free and he made up the interview because he didn't want to sound weird at first. Well he came over in 2007 in November and right as soon as I saw him in the airport I knew that I wanted to be with him forever. I purposed to me when I went over there for our one year anniversary. He surprised me with a trip to Dublin, Ireland and he purposed to me in the Irish War Memorial Gardens. It was so amazing. I just can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
