I would wait until you get your NOA2 before going to a medical. It only takes 2 appointments within 4 days of each other.
for the vaccinations:
I didn't have any vaccination charts, but i did my schooling in belgium and the doctor told me i already had all the required vaccinations because it is required by law in Belgium.
So all he did is give me a tetanus shot which also happens to be the cheapest vaccination for a little over 5 euros (without mutuality).
I went to the doctor in antwerp. (there's 3, 1 in luxembourg, 1 in brussels and 1 in antwerp)
If you go to antwerp, he'll tell you to get an X-ray done there as well which is an office close to the doctor's.
This is the doctor's address. (doctor cost me 85 euros without mutuality)

Ok, in the end, i had to go during immigrant visa times, which for belgium are between 2 and 4pm.

Hello all
I'm 2 days away from my new life, overstressed and exhausted and now I'm worrying about the fact that I have no annotation on my K1 Visa, no alien number is mentioned.
I've seen topics speaking of such annotation like name of fiancé and alien number so now I'm wondering.
Is it normal?
Maybe it's country dependant and it's not the same everywhere?
Thanks a bunch for any reassuring words you might have
2 days huh(EDIT: guess you're leaving tomorrow as well), only one for me, leaving tomorrow. still, congratulations for making it so far.
i just picked up my visa and it's the same for me. nothing is filled out for annotation.
both the consular and the clerks didn't mention anything.
as for the alien number, you don't have it yet. i guess you will get it once you change status to immigrant status.
so nothing out off the ordinary. you've passed the worst. no more need to be stressed out

double post here, but it's actually an edit.
i found out that the K1 visa is technically a non-immigrant visa with immigrant visa processing.
does this mean i show up on the opening times for the non-immigrant visa section which is from 8am to 10:30am?

Hi, i have another last minute question.
I was giving an appointment letter with only a date.
This made me assume that i just walk in on that date.
I was planning to go early in the morning, but just found the embassy opening times
for both non-immigrant visas and immigrant visas.
Can someone help me out? Maybe someone had the same thing?
thank you in advance
ps. due to no money on creditcard, i'm not able to call the embassy directly.

Yeah, just go to USCIS.gov and look for the case tracking.
Just keep in mind that the time between NOA1 and NOA2 (where you might actually see a change in your case status) can take months. it took about 5 or 6 months for me.

ok, thank you for the quick reply and sorry for my slow one.
In that case, i'm ok with the number of photos i have for now.
thanks for the small tip as well.

hi, i have a very quick question.
i'm a little confused. they say that for my visa interview i need to bring 3 photos.
does this include the 2 photo's required for the non-immigrant visa forms or
do i need to take 2 more just for that?
any quick help is much appreciated

Hey, i have sent you a message about how we are dealing with all this.
If there is no way that might work, i agree with carolina+james.
Skype all the way. we purchased their unlimited world service and can call each other
pretty much unlimitedly for $10/month.
Or, when you're both logged on at a computer it's completely free, even with camera.

Hi, I have a question about the interview dates.
Will the Embassy give you a date you HAVE to attend, are you giving a choice of dates or are you able to specify your own availlability (give a range of dates where you're availlable).
Interview will be held at the consulate in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
No annotation on K1 visa, no alien number is it normal?
