i can't remember exactly when it was.. But it was around mid september when i called DOS they told me i had a date.. Finally!

Guys, Don't lose hope!! I had sent my package 3 on June 10th.. and they gave me an interview for October 28th!! so i guess it's a trend now.. we all have to wait for at least 3 to 4 months =(....

Yeah, I'm really frustrated... I really REALLY want to get my visa by January, and move, and have a wedding in January, not February. I know it's stupid, but there's a million reasons for it in my head... I feel like I'm going to be SO CLOSE, that it just might not happen, and it might be like, just BARELY... it's driving me insane.. this is 100000 x worse than waiting for NOA2....

And I really need to stop whining about that, because I just did it in 2 threads in a row.. Srsly though..

Don't worry too much.. the second i stopped thinking about it so much we got a date... again, you never know.. they might juss schedule you for November.. Domegirl sent her package end of July and she got a september interview!!! so keep that in mind

Sorry guys i don't really know how to update my timeline... we sent our package 3 on June 10... So we practically waited for 3 months to get our date =)

I called DOS today... got my interview date!!!! October 28 .. wooohoo =)

Congrats! Not sure how long you've waited and I am curious.

I just called the NVC and asked how they scheduled interviews, and I don't think I have ever had a such a nonsensical conversation in my life. I was told that it was done by the NVC completed date, then when I pointed out that others with a later date were being scheduled before me, he told me it was done by individual circumstances. When I asked how could they know about individual circumstances, he changed his story to something else. He also initially said that Montreal tells the NVC which cases to schedule, but then said the NVC is in charge of giving the cases to Montreal. I honestly think the front line people on the phone have zero idea of what is going on. When I finally asked for a supervisor, he came back on the line a couple of minutes later to tell me to call back in 15-20 minutes because they were all busy. Frustrating!!! I just want a date so I can plan a vacation and other things. Is that too much to ask? I honestly think they've forgotten entirely about us people who were completed in June.

I was just wondering what is the number to call to find out if an interview date is set up? I see alot of CR1 interview dates set up for August... I wonder if any of the K1's got anything for August.

All you have to send back is the checklist as well as DS 230... Also, complete the DS 160 application online...( i sent a confirmation receipt of this application as well, donno if they needed it). Hope this helps.

i agree too domegirl... i hope it's in the next couple of months but if not... it's okay, all it matters is for us to be approved afterall.

I just sent my packet 3 but all i included was DS 230 part 1, the checklist.. and a confirmation receipt of DS 160. Now i'm wondering if i had to send a copy of the DS160 application that i took online..

Any thoughts guys??
