  1. Yes..You should file for a CRBA as soon as possible. We just finished this process so if you have any specific questions after looking at the procedures from the website that payxibka posted feel free to send me a message or email. I will be happy to help you in any way that I can. Good luck on your Visa/CRBA journey. Mike

Thanks so much il check the site and will tell u what i got ..

Im married to a US Citizen and we have a 6 month old daughter who was born in the Philippines while our petition was on process. Is she automatic US Citizen or do i need to file anything to US Embassy here in Manila? I already faxed a copy of her Birth Certificate to the US Embassy Manila for updates. What else should I do?

Yes, their is a specific procedure to follow. Go to the manila website and look at the procedure for filing for a consular report of birth abroad (CRBA)

    Thanks il check it now.

  2. Until now since July 2007 where we file the K3/K4 visa our status is still the same. "Received and pending".!!!! (forever)

Can anyone here tell me what would it take to change from K3 to CR1/IR1?

you are not yet K3/4 or CR1 as no visa has yet been applied for.

What you have are two petitions (1-130 & I-129F). The I-130 when approved could result in a CR1/IR1. The I-129F when approved could result in the K-3.

So, if the status you are looking up online is the I-129F petition then what is the status of the I-130 petition?

Yah sorry for the mistake. its a petition

  3. Hey guys, im new here n read mostly the topics about K1 and K3. it surprised me that most of u here process the petition faster than i thought. My husband file a K3/K4 petition last July 2007 we assumed that the processing will only take about 9-12 months according to the US Embassy website, but until now as i checked the status online my petition is still "case received and pending" why? what took them so long? please help me what to do. im missing my husband so much!!

  4. Congratulations!!!!

    wow ur lucky! congrats!

i feel hopeless on my case because its been awhile now since my husband file for a petition, That was July 2007 and until now the status it is still pending & on process!!! pls help!

Have your husband call USCIS and ask for an expedite, have him contact his congressman, have him do something!!

    Good Luck

hi, thanks for your reply, i already told him to do it, we tried calling the USCIS but it seems tht no1 answer the phone except the computer, n always tell us to check the website! we thought that our waiting has something to do about the increase applicant n now the recession but as i read the post here OMG we r so delay!! :crying: n seems that all petitions r moving but ours.

Do u have any contact number of USCIS other than the one posted on their site? do u think sending them real mail help the process faster?
