  1. I realized that I might have forgotten to sign my N-400 application after i printed it. What is going to happen? Hope they dont send it back to me after all. Is their a chance they can process my application and mayb on interview day correct any errors such as obtaining signature? If anyone has been in similar situation or have an idea what the outcome could be pls share with me. I also wonder how long it could take for them to get back with me. Thanks guys as I await ur thoughts and comments

  2. I think you ve got the right things to get ur aproval.. I say so becos I went thru the RFE and just got approved last wk. it took only two wks for them to approve it. I really think ur good to go especially if ur writing a personal statement to explain any discrepancy or what u feel u need to say to the officer that would be great..if ur spouse could also make a statement that would be a plus. I would also advice u to notarize them if u can. Best of luck

  3. Do not bring copies of Drivers license and passports - take the originals with you. Also, you must bring your greencard with you, you seem to have left that out of your list as well as the appointment letter. My wife was a=only asked for the copies of the tax returns and nothing else - but she took a few originals with her in case she was asked, your list is good but you must take the originals with you. By the way, the interviewer made copies and returned the tax returns to my wife, even though my wife told her to to keep them since we had copies at home. Good Luck

I see that u mentioned to take some originals to the interview.. as for my spouse's US birth certificate would it be ok to take a copy? Let me know what ur thought is. Thanks motu

  4. Hi guys.. I am about to file my citizenship based on marriage. but i was wondering if i could submit the application and fee in the mail, when called for an interview bring in the supporting documents such as taxes, bills lease and stuff. Or am I required to submit all materials at once in the mail. Just want to knw in that way i can take my time and gather my documents. second question am i required to bring in originals of all documents to interview?

  5. thanks for sharing your view. i am experiencing almost thesame things as u. i got rfc and since then have not heard from them. pls what do u advice me to do.

    thanks

I know how it feels... did u involve a lawyer cos it ll be helpful. I moved to a different city becos of my job and for the past 10months i wasnt living with my husband. the good thing is that i admitted it. I wrote a personal statement and my husband also did the same plus added a few more documents like pictures, more affidavit, new lease contract, life insurance, cards from friends n family, didnt file joint taxed with him for 2008. but I hope u were able to send more documents to help.

  6. I am so thankful to God for making a way when it feels like... o my!!! I am so relieved. Just got my approval letter today after I sent in my RFE document. They(Vermont) responded approximately 2 wks after they received my RFE document and i think that was pretty quick.... o well it s about time anyways. For u guys still waiting or might be in similar situation pls dont hesistate to ask me what could be sent out to strengthen ur RFE case.

Thank you all so much for your support. Much love

  7. I know exactly what u r talking about because I got an RFE as well sometime in April. You r not dumb or whatsover cos mine also didnt ask for a specific evident..they just wanted more documents/evidence to be turned in to help them make a decision. If u r wondering...I havent heard anything yet since i sent them more evidence. Still waiting though

  8. Contact your congressperson/senator and ask for their immigration expert/liaison. He/she will email/fax you a release form to allow them to do an inquiry (all this free) and will get back to in couple days.

Normally I have seen this on VJ, this results in 99.9% approvals.

Thanks for your thought. What number do I call if i want to speak to a congressperson/senator?. I just dont know know how to go about it.
