  1. I got the RFE and it said there was no DS-3025, which I did send to them. It also said there was missing all other medical related documents too and asked for the I-693 and gave me a deadline of January 14th to send it or the whole thing would be rejected. We just did the whole exam and paperwork again and sent it and POW just got the "Welcome to the United States" letter yesterday.

  2. My RFE said they had nothing on file although they did have the DS-3025. Not only did my clinic recommend doing the complete exam, they would ONLY do the complete exam. They refused to do the vaccination only section of the I-693 because of the problems with rejections from USCIS. Another clinic I talked to would not do the partial vaccination part either due to the problems with rejections. One clinic quit doing immigration exams because of being hassled by people being rejected for things out of their control and communicating with USCIS is to difficult for the clinics.

  3. I did the medical examination thing in October 2009... BUT the people at the airport kept all my paperwork (including the medical) and there was no way to copy it cause i was sealed all the time. Am I suppose to print the medical form and go see a doctor again? If so, can I be the doctor I pick or they have a list of doctors?

    THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU :)

You need a DS3025 vaccination record form from where you got your first medical exam. USCIS instructions say if you had medical exam already, the doctor only needs to complete the vaccination section on the I-693 form but 2 clinics told me that when people only requested this done, they are getting rejected and then blaming it on the clinics. It is best to get the complete exam again and it is a sure thing.

  4. I am planning to file my AOS this month but I really don't want to get vaccinations while i am still pregnant.I am 7 months pregnant now.I called some civil surgeons in my area and most of them said i really need to have vaccinations in order for them to issue the form I-693...i really thought that the vaccination document worksheet that i had from the Philippines is enough...what am i gonna do?I'm kinda worried getting the vaccinations,i wanna do it after i deliver the baby..advice please?thanks

The doctor in the Philippines told my wife she would have to get follow up for one or more vaccinations in the USA and the doctor here said as long as she had 1 it was ok and didn't have her take any more. Human Papillomavirus and herpes zoster vaccination is no longer required. HIV test is no longer required either. I think you are only required a chest x-ray if you test positive on the TB skin test, but if you have received the BCG vaccine in the Philippines against TB, you will most likely test positive, so you need to tell them you had the BCG vaccine and they *might* not do a chest x-ray if you test positive. I am not a doctor.

  5. Application and embassy expenses, $ 2175 Dollars

Flight to US, $ 1000 Dollars

Being in your honey's arms for good, $ Priceless.

What?? 1000 is a round trip ticket.. she needs only one way plane ticket.. around 400 maybe

what?? 400 u must be dreaming

FYI: If you are a EVA Air Evergreen Club member, they have one-way flights from Manila to Los Angeles or San Fransisco for under $500 USD.

  6. My fiancee finally got her K1 Visa in her hand this week. The whole process took 9 months. The delays were cause from Hong Kong post mailing the packet to the Manila post and mailing a Hong Kong Certificate of No Criminal Conviction to the Manila post. This added over 2 months delay. I don't understand why it takes a month to mail something from Hong Kong to Manila, but it did.

Oh well, it's finally over with. Good luck to those still waiting! :)
