Current Status: Card production ordered.

and second:

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

Can anybody help, please? I'm confused by the newest update. I don't know what it means..What should I expect?Thanks!!

On July 1, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made....

Congratulations!!! That is GOOD! You have been transferred to the California Service Center which means that you most likely won't have to attend an interview and your AOS will be approved "just" like that. When you look at the spreadsheet you will see that the first transferred filers already received their Greencard without interview or at least received a "card production"-email.

Thank you, Chibby! I hoped it could be that, but I wasn't sure. As I can see, most people were transfered to CSC before they got EAD and AP...That confused me. I also got RFE, then the case was transfered to NBC... it seemed complicated and I was expecting the interview notice , so this really surprised me today! I was like - What the hell is now?! But I hope it's gonna be exactly in the way you said! Thanks a lot!

hello IVA... what is the reason why u had the RFE??? because we had also RFE, until now we keep waiting if they will send us an interview date... i hope they will transfer too...

Well, my husband's taxes are little bit in a mess They asked for more information as a proof for finacial support, but instead colecting information and waiting longer , we decided to take his sister as a joint sponsor

I put you in the spreadsheet and updated your row, you're right at the top in the purple row starting with 2-Apr

Since you haven't been transferred to CSC (yet) you'll most likely have an interview at your local office. But nobody can tell you when you'll have the interview until you get the letter with a date. I'm not sure if you can reschedule it.

Thanks! I did it By the way, I have a question :I'm wondering what is the next in my case- interview or GC. Actulay, I'm concern mostly because of the trip I'm planing to make in August to visit my family. I wouldn't like to have an interview during that time. What should I expect? Do you have any idea?

If everything is ok so far, I don't see why would you need a lawyer...900$ for what?! Crazy!! I'm sure there's a much better way to spend that money

I applied for AOS , EAD and AP at the beggining of April and have biometrics done( May 1st). My case wasn't visible on the USCIS untill last night. I tried it last night and it says that they sent REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE to me and my case will be on hold. I will have it in mail box probably tomorrow or Friday, but I hope somebody can help me to have an idea what it can be. Can anyone help me to explain what it could be about.

I'm planing to travel to see my family in september and instead AP, I got RFE. I,m so upset. Help, please! Thanks!
