GC has arrived today. Problem is they put photo they took at biometrics. Why they asked for dozen of photos with applications when they took it from my wife at the biometrics interview?

Too good it is only for three years.

Now we are just waiting for a card. Good we had an interview at the Garden City Office in NYC, so stamp was put right away. Now we have to get rid of that notice from ssn and driver license and USCIS will be gone for some time.

Interview passed no problems, no hassle. Few quick questions to wife. Nothing about us. He took bank statements, bills, one photo and I-94. No documents checked except my ID and wife's passport. Later passport stamped and just wait for green card.

USCIS see you in 2 years to extend green card and then 1 year for citizenship.

EAD received today !! Great !!

Monday trip to SSA and after getting SSN trip to DMV to change last name and letter to send to IRS that ITIN is not valid anymore since SSN was issued.

AP in the mail today We were expecting EAD rather

USCIS sent two copies of AP. So which do we use while traveling ??

Still no EAD/AP in the mail yet

Hoping I will get something today, because everyone usually gets it 2-3 days after card production ordered and for us it's a week

Today they sent receipt that EAD has been approved. I wonder if something will be in the mail.

Our case touched again today. I can't wait for my wife's EAD (and AP, but she doesn't travel anywhere anyway until GC in the hands or an emergency).

I am also collecting documents for an interview and I wonder how long is it going to take to get GC after positive interview.

Finally EAD ordered and AP approved. We can't wait. My wife just want to start looking for a job.

Our case was touched today as well. I hope for quick EAD (and AP, but this is not needed fast). Testing case online everyday.

We didn't take a cell. Was fast, now waiting for EAD & AP.

My wife goes for biometrics tomorrow.

She will take appointment notice, passport, driver license and marriage license since all documents with maiden name.

Can she carry a cell phone? She will use it unless emergency or she has any question to ask me using it in silence mode.

She wants to travel, but not emergency and nothing planned, but you never know. We forgot to include a letter and now I afraid she will be denied and next time we apply we need to pay (nowa we included that application for free with I-485/I130).

Do they approve without a letter or at least send RFE for that letter?

Please? Anyone?

I read all form and it didn't say that I have to include proof of employment, but it's optional if I think it may help the application, but I make enough.

I just included copy of my last federal tax return + copies of W-2 / 1099.

I don't want any delays for my wife - she wants to work and waits for EAD.

Now I am scared that entire case might be DENIED and PAY again, wait AGAIN.

Anyone?
