I think I will have a break between jobs and I was wondering if I could go to the Philippines for a month or so while I'm waiting for our NOA2.

My first question would be is there a way to check my NOA2 status online since I will be in Phil not getting my mail for a month or so if I do this ?

Second question would be, would I have to show the NOA2 if we went to the interview while I was still there in Phil and it became NOA2 time or would I miss any important mail I would need to present at interview ?

I'm just thinking it will be happier for me to spend some time with my girl rather than watching the mailbox especially if I have a break between jobs.

1. yes you can check your status anywhere you are...You can register to the site of USCIS of checking your status online...

2. During the interview, they need the hard copy of the NOA2 and a letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) too that will be sent to your mailbox not the letter that they will be sending in your e-mail...

It's a good idea to spent time with your fiancee while waiting for the approval...but remember there are some documents that you are going to gather here that she will be needing for the interview...

I just had my interview this morning for K1 visa. My most awaited one. I had mine at 8:00 Am at window 29. The guy was a good looking one, but behind that gorgeous face was a horrible character. I know that their job is to scrutinize people, but wasn't expecting him to call me a liar where in fact I said all truth and nothing but the truth. I just don't understand what went wrong. Docs were all good and complete.. Questions were answered honestly. What more should I say? And when my name was called at the counter 37, the pinoy guy told me my case is for further review. They didnt say if i am denied or approve. Im so nervous that I wanna die now. Like my whole world and dream to be with my fiance all vanished. But my loved ones said, you said all truth and we don't know yet what will be their decision about it. But I don't want to hold on anymore. My dreams were all shattered and felt so humiliated.

I just want to know if this case really happens? I am now praying hard..really hard.. that somehow God will listen to me and hoping it'll be approved. Or will I ever have another interview? I don't like another humiliation from a consul.

Is there anybody here who has the same case? Or experienced same thing? Why do they need further review? Where all i said were true and honest. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

You're fine as long as they did not return your passport... You're case will just be reviewed...Sometimes they do that if they see something wrong even a very little thing... Hang in there, one of these days your visa will be in your hands already...Hoping it will be too soon...

and one thing more.....a Certified RN...which means..lots a lots a lots a dollars!!!!! woohoo.....

I never experienced such kind of situation during my CFO seminar...In fact in our batch there was a 21-year old going to germany using a fiance visa...btw, I attended my seminar at St. Mary's in Katipunan, Cubao, QC...

In my experience it seem like once a girl arrives in USA, and in less than 8 months they are pregnant.

I reason this to they have nothing to do during the day while their husband works, and they sit home waiting for Green card and or driver licenses and or work permit.

So what??? We are not brought here to work and earn money for our husbands unlike what you did to your wife ..we are here to take care of our husbands and get pregnant to make a complete happy family...

You would have beat us but you tried using sheep first before ponys but there was too much inbreeding and had to stop. You still got some with the ponys though. It still shows. You can see the horses a$$ in your face if you look close.

you can find those in asian store...i think your wife is tagalog...ang tagalog don't use term vitcin... (it's a cebuano term)... i lived in manila for 5yrs, what are famous there in replacement of vitcin are ginisa mix and knorr magic sarap...search in the internet asian stores in your area and you drive your lamborgini to find those stores ...good luck...

I answered NO and I didn't have any prob...as a matter of fact I passed the interview and in God's grace I'm here in US now...Don't worry about it...

hey i am so sorry that i ask ur opinions , it is my mistake i was thinking that vj is family and friends here who care for each other and help each other, i am really feel bad that i ask ur opinion so forgive me, u treat me like a criminal and all the bad posts i got, i really made a big mistake and i am glad i am done with my visa and i thank u who ever help me and i really appreciate the help who ever help me but it is not worth it to be here if people treat their friends like this, i only ask my friends opinion and i really made a mistake and i regret. u make so much fun of everything i do, good luck to u all for ur visa journey. god bless u all, abby n sheryl
