Hi! I have a question.. Is it possible NOT to get an email before getting the hardcopy? Apparently our case was touched AGAIN 08-28-2009. What does this mean!!! My fiance is at work in the slopes and he cannot check the mail and his brother won't freaking pick up my calls (lkadjfaojlamglajsdfopjasmf!!!) !

Now I'm getting worked up if we got an RFE or a NOA2 !!

Mine had the same situation as yours.. I had 2 touches back to back. The first touch ended up being my NOA2 date and the 2nd touch must have been the day the notice was mailed Hang in there. Check your mailbox about 4-5 days after aug 28. *I never got the email approval because USCIS never updated their system. I just got the NOA2 Hardcopy instead.

Sooo.... NVC says I'm in AP... Hopefully they do throw that word around alot, because now I've got no time limit to wait... no fun.

So what does it mean to be in "AP"?

I got the hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail last Friday.

So I did get the lucky touch!!! The touch on Aug 17 was the approved NOA date. 2nd touch of Aug 18 must have been the mailing date.

The USCIS site is still not updated.

wow sis next is ur approval for sure hehehe... hope ours too from vsc hehehe... u know lots of filers from csc here got touched or approved why vsc sooooooo sloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww???????....

It was dated May 15th, they received it the 11th.

Got the same exact thing! Just got the NOA1 today in the mail. It was dated May15th and they received the application on the 11th also.. now for the long wait.

My check is cashed! Now... to wait for the NOA1...I wonder how long that will take.

Hello to all May 2009 Filers!!! I'm new to posting in VJ & find this forum very helpful. Anyway, as for my updates: I mailed my I-129F on May 8th. I did track it through USPS & the package was delivered May 11. Until now.. no cashed check or NOA1 yet.

It looks like those who mailed it around the 8th are in the same boat as I am.
