Thanks for the info. I thought i was the one that filled out the first app but then when i started reading the info on the site i started getting a little information overload and was confusing myself as to WHICH ones needed both sigs and such.

OK I am new here and new to the process. Just a little background. We met in Jan 08 on line, talked as just friends for many months then things grew into more..., I went to china for the month of march 2009 and while there we decided we would like to marry and have her move here to the US. I thought i would just get a lawyer or a visa service but after finding this site and everyone saying NO NO NO. I decided to try this myself...

I have MANY questions but i think i will find most of them in past posts. The one thing I have NOT seen is Does my girlfriend have to fill out the 129F and the 325A and send them to me, OR do i can i just fill them out with her info? I know she will need to do the letter of intent and send me a PassPort style photo. but before she goes through and fills out all 4 copies of that 325A by hand i wanted to make sure if I could do it on the computer.

And if there is ANY other adv someone can give, it would be great. I must say i am a bit overwhelmed by just how involved this all is.

Maybe I am just OVER thinking things but I think 99% of the people involved with this disaster should be eaten alive by angry rabid Tribbles!!! The only one, right off the bat, which should be given a pass, is the guy that played Bones. He is the ONLY actor that lived up to the VERY big shoes they were trying to fill. Capt. Pike was OK but we don’t have a lot to go on with him from ST:OS. I don’t think the Pike from the 60s would have given a cadet the 1st officer job but ok give them a pass on that.

I agree with all the Nit Picks from above and do NOT think this was an alt dimension story. I WISH it was an alt vers but I fear it is not. My biggest prob comes in that there are SO many important moments in the “future” of the star trek vers from the OS, movies, TNG, DS9 and VOY that DIRECTLY involves Vulcan. Take for example, Spock’s PonFarr from the OS. What are the odds the girl made it off Vulcan or if she is the other man living as well. One of the Greatest moments in star trek history does NOT exist now. When Spock dies and they go back to…um…oh yes VULCAN to get his katra out of Bones and back in him, and AGAIN what are the odds that out of only 10,000 the 100 year old lady that did the ceromony made it off the planet? But even BEYOND that the idea that only 10,000 vulcans lived is INSANE. In the TV show Enterprise whiich happened BEFORE all of this so their time line is uneffectd, the Vulcans has colonies on many other worlds so there SHOULD be more then just 10,000 and if there were other vulcan planets why could they not have blown up one of them to start with on the way to Vulcan and then stoped Nero before he could blow up Vulcan and alter the time line TOO much.

I think it just comes down to VERY poor writing and MANY if not ALL of these things could have been fixed with just a LITTLE more attention to the details and NOT just trying to make a buck off of then name of Star Trek. They could have done a Good movie that DID NOT mess with the established time line in a major way.

And you don’t even want to hear all of my thoughts on the idea that they made the 1701 come off as looking more powerful then the 1701-a b c d or E…or the fact that the Orion slave girl could NOT be in star fleet because of again on Enterprise they showed that they give off such powerful Pheromons that half the men on campus would be insane by her 2nd year.

Like I said MAYBE I just put WAY too much thought into things like this but it would NOT have taken much more effort to do this film in such a way that it did not COMPLETELY unravel the 40 years of tv and movies, and there is just NO excuse for being slopy with the details when it comes to something that is so important to so many people.
