    a quick question, not really worth taking forum space up. BUT/ which picture do they use for your green card? the one that you submitted in the AIS oacket or the one that they take at the biometrics appt.?

    Hi guys! For I-134 and I-864 (affidavit of support documents for K1), do I need the original ones or can my fiance just scan them and e-mail the signed copies to me?

      There are papers and things to be done before you can schedule the interview.

      CR-1 does not file adjustment of status in the USA. You should go and read the instructions and the guides.

    So annoyed at people who don't understand stuff at their jobs, trying to get the social security card, they say he has to have a work authorization card...and lots of other stuff no one else seems to mention, ugh! Help God we need to get on with the AOS!

      If your I-94 is expired or close to expiring then yes you do have to have an EAD or green card to get the ssn.

      GO check the guides for AOS everything is step by step in the Guide section on VJ. SSN is applied for at the SSN office in the USA.

      you will need to do more research and find out more information. The only places to do medicals are in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. Don't sit idle, be proactive.

      Never a good idea to buy tickets when you don't know whats going to happen at the interview or if you are going to get your visa by then. If your visa is late or you get an RFE at the interview and it is delayed more then you wasted your tickets and money!

    Tues the 16th we were told they had everything and had asked Montreal to expedite. Monday the 22nd they email a request for us to do the DS 260 online. Today we are told to wait 20 business days. I am so disappointed and frustrated right now.

      Did u submit documents for proof of needing the expedite? It sounds like they are doing a check which is why they ask for 20 days.

      Your visa expired the day you used it. You need to go by the time on your I-94.

      A lawyer cant help get you through AP he has no power to do anything accept call and ask if your out of ap. The same thing that you yourself can do for free... You need to contact your senator.
