I'm a US Citizen and after I got married I filled I-130 for my wife in March 2010 (she's currently in India). My question is that she just received the package info and about to mail it but the problem is that the file came from NVC (New Delhi), Is there any way to change the file from NVC to BMB (Mumbai). The consoler in India told me that she might have to go there at least 2-3 times.

Does she has to mail it from india or I have to mail the g325a. Also do I have to mail the copy of marriage certificate,wedding photos and everthing with I130 and G325a.

1. In I130 on section C question 17. List husband/wife and all children of your relative. Do I fill my name in there or not?

2. In G325A

2a. It's asking me about last address outside of US, what I should put in. I don't have any residence in India anymore other than my uncle's.

2b. Also it's asking if this form is submitted in connection with an application for. Should I put naturalization or other (petition)?

2c. My wife's in India do I have to send this form to India for her to fill (I can fill it out here too) and sign it and then send it back to me.

3. Evidence of a bonafide marriage: Is marriage certificate is enough, because I don't have any property or any children with both our names.

Let me give you some background information, I married on 1/22/2010 in India and left India on 2/15/2010. My father has passed away and I received citizenship thru my mother who was citizen and at the time I was over 21. My wife is living with her parents right now till the application is thru.

I'm a US citizen and just got married on 1/22/10 in India and came back to US on 2/16/10. I want to apply for my wife; I know I have to apply I-130 first. But before I do that I just want to confirm before I send out any documents that what procedure I should take.

My marriage certificate (in English) will be here in couple of days, I'll be filling as soon as it arrives.

My mother filled for my sister when she was married in Feb '04 when she became US citizen in 2003. Since then my sister became widow and now I have to do CoS for the I130 that my mother filled.

So the situation is that my mother who's US Citizen filled for my sister (then married) who's in Nairobi kenya and now a widow, also the application hasn't been approved yet it's still pending and I want to do a COS.

My question is which form should I fill the do the CoS?

You should file for both of them right away. Your daughter might be able to make it early (there's 50/50 change). Right now your daughter falls under 2A (right now they're working on 15-APR-2005 so 4+ years if you file now) and your son is under 2B (01-JUL-2001 so 9+ years).

If by then you become US citizen you can do a change of status (I am still looking into this since I have to do COS of my widow sister which my mother filled). Also you have to file separate petition for both.

I have a question I don't know if you guys can help. My interviews tomorrow and I was just going thru my paperwork and found out there were few month gap between my statuses. For example I arrived under B2 visa and changed the status to F1 there was a gap of 2 months and 22 day gap, then from F1 to F2 gap is 2 months and 15 days.

Will the officer ask me about those gap and another questions how I can explain it properly. At the time I was living with some of my relative and they were the one handling my application. From all the interview I went for none of the officers asked me about the gap (for my green card and change of status I did one interview each).

The check got cashed today, but bank didn't show who cashed it. Neither have I received the NoA
