I just went through this with my children.DH filed for them - his stepsons.I sent in the I-130 in May and was In NVC by August. I had a Dec 16th interview and the kids have been here two weeks now.I did the process my self and this site was very helpful to me, so if you have any questions, I would be happy to guide you along the way. After you have submitting all your documents to NVC, what do you do besides calling 4 times a day to hear case complete?

If i hear :The NVC has received your checklist letter response" one more time i might scream!

Is there anything I can do to speed things up at this point?I will be visiting home in December and would love if the children has a interview date then...We have been seperated for six years : (

My DS-230 was expressed mailed on Oct 23rd and I emailed the embassy in Kingston on Oct 26th requesting a date for November 16th because my SO was already coming here to celebrate our birthdays on the weekend of the 13th. Yeah!!!!!! I got it. I would advise everyone to request a date if they want to, just make sure its a lil bit more than 10 days ahead, in order to have the medical done. 18 days to go Thank you JAWI and NAT for suggesting it.

After submitting my DS-230 on the same day I got a letter about the missing ds-230.Do i need to resubmit the documents. I already sent my originals or should i just send copies of the form ds-230 OR ignore until they receive and process the ds-230 i sent?TIA

I emailed mine and put 2nd Inquiry in the subget line with his KGN2009# and I got an answer the same day. Try that. I also got a cover letter from Jawi 876 which I used. I hope you hear from them soon.

I am getting ready to submit my DS-230 for my stepson's approved I-130.His Father works with an Airline and he has travelled quite often over the years(once every 2 months at least).A year ago his passport was lost/stolen on a trip back home. I am able to remember some travel dates by memory, but what happens if I don't list ALL travel dates to the US?

Also would like to know which pages of the passport (Jamaican) are considered biographic pages?Just the first page?

Paper clip each one with a cover letter and mail it all in one envelope to save postage. As for the pix put them in a ziploc bag attached to the appropriate petition.

I am currently filing 3 separate I-130 petitions for my step-children, should i seal each one in an evelope and then mail in one big envelope or just paper clip and separate each one with the cover letter?Also how do i attach pics? In ziploc or just paperclip to forms?
