Thanks, I live in Quezon City too!!! I just got worried when I don't know where and what part of the process I am in now? I wasn't nervous during my interview and it went well, (except that they kept me waiting inside the cubicle of the consul for 15 minutes or more before he interviewed me for only 5-10 minutes), just now that I cannot track where is it?
Also, is it true that there is no office at the embassy during every thursday afternoon and fridays?
ei just relax.. you'll get it soon... they really give 10 days to wait for our visa for more further investigations... i got approved june 18 same day with my interview, they told me it's 10 working days... i live in tagaytay, but surprisingly i got it june 24...once your visa has been approved... just wait and relax... if you want while waiting for your visa you can attend already the CFO seminar, just bring valid ids or birth certificate and the documents that you presented to the USEM during your interview...bring P250 for the seminar (St, MaRY'S AT katipunan) CFO sticker for 400 pesos...

I got my visa last July 8, 2009 but my NBI clearance expired July 7, 2009. Do i need to renew my NBI clearance? It is still needed in the states? I was interviewed March of 2009 but unfortunately , i only got my visa after 4 months bcoz it was under investigation. I just need some advise..thanks!
first of all i'd like to congratulate you coz you're approved already... actually, it was my flight to US when your visa has been approved...
re NBI, you don't need it anymore... just keep all your documents that you presented to the USEM during your interview and brng it here...

i'm a little confused... just arrived last july 8, we're planning to get married first week of august... my question is, can i already apply SSN after my two weeks arrival? or do i have to be married first before i apply SSN?

I already asked my mom to get me a new one and this time specify my name on the lower part (requesting party).I think it will be fine cuz i know one of the member here in VJ did the same thing,she asked her brother to get a CENOMAR for her and she was approved during her interview.!!!Just dont get a CENOMAR in any travel agencies like what i did,there name appeared on the lower part and the consul ask me about it and i got the 221g to submit additional documents,which is a new CENOMAR...why dont you just go to this site... apply online...www.e-census.com.ph
1. go to request... click apply certificate
2. a small box will appear.. click "i accept"
3. A request information will appear, fill up the form.. click submit
4. click CENOMAR, fill up the form again.. . add it
5. a request confirmation will come out, print it out..
6. bring it at any bdo offices for references
you'll pay 415 pesos only...4-5 workings days... it will be deliver to you by air 21

On the form G-325A there is a line which states: Applicants last address outside the United States of more than one year. My fiance lives in the Philippines and asked me what she should put in this line since she isnt from the USA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

as i was looking online for cheap tickets, i passed through PAL and they have a very great deal,
from US going to PI its only 718+taxes(until July 8).. and i looked for Manila to US for 1,350++ for me and my baby.. same price for RT and Oneway...
i was thinking of getting RT...
will it be okay to come back here after few months to use the return ticket?
my husband wants to come back here also maybe on December...

mero tayung receipt diba nanng nag bayad tayo nang air21 and meron tracking number and ang result not found ang tracking number.. pano yun?
tapos tannong lang sana ako kung ano ba dapat lang bilhin na ticket? round trip ba or one way lang?

i was interviewed last june 18, thanks God my visa has been approved!
air 21 staff told me that it's 10 working days... but i got my visa last june 24, i bought my ticket june 29 at mango tours one way non stop mla to san francisco for only 735 USD.. they will ask you why it's one way... just tell them it's a fiance visa... i attended my CFO seminar at PRISM taft, got my sticker @ CFO quirino last june 30...now.. just waiting for my flight it's gonna be on july 8... so relax... just wait for your visa first ... okay! Hey all, does anyone know if the 45 days currently shown for the Manila embassy is the time that the embassy is setting? ie you call them up and they give you an appointment 45 days out or is this just the avg as some people just take that long to get all the requirements together? I think we will have most of our requirements completed well before 45 days so are we able to schedule an appointment sooner than that? Thanks!
i got my appointment letter last may 22, i called ECC last may 25, the given interview date is from june 16- 26, i get june 18, thanks God i passed... got my visa june 24, bought my plane ticket last june 29, attended my CFO seminar last june 30... now packing my things for my july 8 flight to san francisco via phil airlines...
be sure when u have your interview you are complete with your requirements.. okay...God bless US

walk in lang ako yesterday same with my new friend with kid together with her fiance...hindi naman kc ganun karami ung umattend kc there's st. mary in katipunan...if ur in manila esp in taft... PRISM madali puntahan it's just that u have to transfer to another place which is quirino where CFO building is located( CFO certificate n sticker)... i called PRISM number before i go there but it's not working that's why i decided to go there as walk in... we're 6 for US bound...i went there b4 1pm but our counseling started at 2pm...

hello ,i have some questions to ask those who had experience about cfo matters with your kids?i have been calling the cfo number in manila for two days now to have my kids scheduled for whatever requirements they ask inorder for my kids to get their sticker.but two days in a row and i have already spent lots of money calling and can't find any perosn to answer me.anyone who can shade me light on this matter?i know i will go to prism or st mary's but they told me to take my kids at the cfo.thanks for your info.
i just attended yesterday my cfo seminar at PRISM Vito Cruz taft... i met a new friend who went there with his 1 yr old daughter... it's required... just bring the original and photocopy of your/ kid's passport n visa.. if u dont have bring NSO birth certificate, NBI and 2 valid ids... bring also some pics together esp the one u presented in the embassy... know your petitioner's college course also.. it will be asked in the registration form... sessions starts at 7, 10 and 130am, be there at least 30 minutes before the counseling... after passing the counseling they will give you certificate then u'll go to CFO quirino for sticker and CFO certificate... photocopy again the passport, visa and certificate (PRISM)

I just received an e-mail stating that they're sending me a letter requesting additional Evidence
. I know someone withsame time i send my papers and they got there NOA2. So anybody else got there NOA2 or instead got requesting additional evidence. Do i need to wory

dont worry just submit the documents ... and if it's okay, ur fiance will receive USCIS approval, the NVC letter then ul your appointment letter...God bless US

Hi Everyone,
I am not from Manila and I will be going to have my CFO next week. Since, I have a K1 visa, I asked them where should I have my orientation. They said in Quezon City, I only knew Ermita.
Anybody here, who knew Manila that well and could give me a good guide if I will stay in Ermita? Should I take a taxi? What is the usual fare for a taxi. Or is there a better way? Like I said I don't know the place. I will be going there alone. Please, I need your advise. Thank you.

My son and I have passed the interview. Done with the CFO seminar and got our stickers. And today, we purchased our one way tickets to LAX. We got such a great deal from my Travel Agent. Got 2 one-way tickets for under a thousand dollars only. I am very pleased with my tickets so I decided to share it to those who are looking for affordable plane tickets to the U.S. To those interested, please let me know and I'll gladly give you her contact numbers.

hi vj members, got my visa packet yesterday it's together with 1 small envelope, flier from US embassy, my passport and a 2 pages sheets...( 1st page... warning that i should not attempt to open the visa packet, 2nd page, requirements for guidance counseling in St. Marys)...
my question is, do i have to bring that yellow envelope too together with my passport in St. Marys ?
m planning to go there on monday...

Spent the whole day at SMEF and CFO today. Overall it was a great experience. I have met many lovely ladies out there. We even had lunch together at Abuhan beside Robinson's Place.
TIPS and ADVICE: You would opt to bring the requirements you presented to the US Embassy as the SMEF staff may ask for it for their own records. These will be kept in confidence and will be for your own good. It's a shame that when I was going thru the seminar I did notice some women there who are clueless about their partners and what klind of life they are entering. It was also evident for some that they are getting engaged or married for the sake of the money. This made me a lil sick.
The SMEF in Cebu have been getting very good feedback and they were all approachable and accommodating. Way to go!

hi, m maya... got here last july 8 then got married last aug 5... this week sept 14-18, we're about to file my AOS coz my 90 days is getting nearer and it's gonna be on oct 6, i have a question regarding EAD which is 1 765, AP ( I 131), am i going to include it with my AOS form and mail it to chicago lockbox? what did u do with your initial evidences, did you submit your origina lBirth /Marriage Certificate? can u share with me the things that you submitted? thanks... keep me posted...
