  1. Hi,

After exactly 6 month we received the NOA2 for the I-130. It is so funny, or maybe not really funny, that we also received the NOA2 for the I-129F at the same time. I think it is way more efficient now to give up the I-129F and continue with the I-130 process. I am expecting a month or so for the NVC process and another month until the interview in Amsterdam. Or is there anything I am missing?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

We are in the process of finalizing the I-130 process and await the NOA2 every day now. Now I got a very good opportunity to work outside of the US for 6 months or more, but I read that once my wife get the green card she can not leave the US more than 6 month without filing an exception, what will be tough, because we would file the exception right after we get the green card.

Now my question is if there is a way to hold the I-130 process for a year or so, because I do not want to cancel it. I read that canceling the I-130 has an effect on future I-130 filings and I don't want to mess it up.

    Thanks for any help.

  3. Hi,

I am getting more and more frustrated every day. We (chinese wife/american husband) received the NOA1 for the I-130 end of March and the NOA1 for the I-129F end of April. Compared to the statistics for K3 visas at the CSC our case is over due to the posted times (April 28 for I-130/May 27 for I-129F) and should have been processed already, or how should I interpret the processing times? When can I expect the NOA2. The last update on our cases was June 10th. What is your experience with these times?

    Thanks for your help.
