DS 156-at No.27 = What is the purpose of your Trip?- i put " MARRIAGE AND RELOCATION TO USA" , any comment pls..

DS 157 at No.12 = Dates of Employment (mm-dd-yyyy) -guys i am really poor with history..Is it ok to write month and a year only? same with No. 17 Dates of Attendance, I know the year when i graduated but I can't remember anymore those specific dates of my attendance..I appreciate any comment, thanks a lot!

I forgot something. NEVER use hard paper or folder for the documents. I used thin plastic folders and button fasteners. i saw applicants who were asked to remove the pictures one by one because the folder they used wont bend and cant get inside the little hole.

K1 Visa was approved at September 30 then my fiance (my hubby) received letter from NVC after one and a half months and I received the letter from USEM after 10 days.

thanks for that pRETTY_aNGEL! im looking forward that i will get my appointment letter then this week or early next week(im crossing my fingers!)..

I would like to add, are there some beneficiaries here who themselves set their own interview schedule(not their SO who called USEM to set interview sched)? just an inquiry and a survery..thanks a lot!

What should i expect, is it an email notification or tru snail mail informing me that i am eligible for interview ? Your opinions are highly appreciated!

Just a clarification if i can make a call to NVC asking the status of our paperworks(if they send already to the consulate)..My beloved is a busy person so he entrusted me to do it myself if ever possible..Do you guys experienced calling them? Hope to hear from you guys who experienced it..thanks a lot!

Update! Just called NVC in a minute passed and have now the MNL case number yipeee!! Now what is next?

Hi sasha414 and peaceful_lyn!thanks for sharing!By the way how many minutes before u were able to talk to the NVC personnel?is it only the WAC...they are going to ask me?i wanted to be prepared before calling them.. again,thank you very much...

i heard that the best time to call them is after 8am phil time which is after 8pm for NVC. i usually called them 8:30 and i got thru right away.

Marami pong salamat sa inyo mga kapatid!! I really feel worried cuz it has been a month now after our NOA2 and we did not hear anything yet, as my SO is too busy that he can't make a call to NVC everyday..Now im composing myself, i will call them asap!!

i am the beneficiary as well, I used to call NVC everyday since my hubby is busy person too..just prepare your NOA receipt number which is starts with WAC followed by ten numbers..then when you like to talk to operator, they will ask the beneficiary's name and DOB and the petitioner DOB then your MNL case number...
