Come on folks, its a big forum and I got just three responses. I'll appreciate more replies. Anyone with interview experience and has been ask specifically by the IO that he wanted to see the spouse. Please. I just don't want to drag my spouse with me for nothing. I dont want to ruin the vacation for her because she got just a week free and if she waits for my interview she will miss it.

I applied for the citizenship based on 3 years marriage to a USC. Does my spouse needs to be with me when I go for the interview? My spouse is planning on visiting the folks in the summer and that is the time I am expecting the interview call.

When someone gets an interview letter for the N-400, do the USCIS update this information online in the person portfolio, I mean when someone checks his status online does it shows that he has been issued an interview letter?

separated after filing N-400 based on 3 year marriage

I filed my N-400 after 3 years marriage to a USC but unfortunately after I filed we got separated. I intend to go to my interview and tell the immigration officer that I no longer wants to get the based on 3 years marriage to a USC as I m separeted from my wife. Does this situation is going to affect my 10 year green card status? and what happens when I apply again for the citizenship again after 2 years. One more worry, what will happen if simply do not show up for the interview and apply after 2 years, is this a wise thing to do?
