  1. I was wondering if anyone that has done the n400 application has provided proof with a previous address in the sss card. I have my proof since i turned 18 but it has my old address, there is a portion in the sss letter that says that we are responsible for updating our address. I got everything except that card with updated address does anyone know if it matters to them?

    Thanks

  2. Hello,

If you are attaching any extra sheets(as I think you are), then put your name, A#, and you might wana put your SSN as it does not hurt), refer to the questions and put your answers. sign and date the sheet.

As of other photocopies (like GC or taxes etc), you do not need to sign them.

Do not forget to sign the petition :).

    Good Luck

Thank you, Do you know if I have to send a copy of my K-1 Visa or just my Mexican passport?

  3. Hello everyone, man!! time sure flies, so busy with life and here we are again! I got a letter from USCIS about filling the I-751, yes it came about 2 weeks ago and i have been scared of it and left it till today. My 90 day period started already, and here I come VJ. I will update my timeline soon sorry.

Anyway I have a few questions, in the I-751 form, in Part 3. "Additional Information ABout You" question #9(Have you resided at any other address since you became a permanent resident? If yes attach a list of the adressess etc...), Ok, so on the top I put my name and my A# right? then refer the part and question, then I put the previous adresses and new address. Do I have to sign and date this page? How about the green card (front and back)? How about all the evidence that I send, do I have to sign it and date it? Now when I send a copy of my passport, I dont need to send a copy of my k-1 visa that is in my passport anymore right? Do I need to send a copy of my US citizen wife's passport? They dont need any birth crets anymore right?

    Thank you guys

  4. Hi everybody, I got a green card thru K-1 visa, and is dated from like 2 months ago from now and it ends on 2 years for my other interview and all the rest. My question is, can i get financial aid at school? Life FAFSA and and other scholarships and all that? I know i am not supposed to be a charge for the country but is this considered that? Anyone has an experience like that? At school they said i could get financial aid, but I dont want to go to my interview in two years and they tell me my green card and all the hard process is denied or canceled because i committed a crime or something like that, pls help thank you!

  5. Yes.

You can review the medical exam forms at http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/fo...and_packets.htm

Those are 'specific' for the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China, but the medical forms, with little exception, are universal.

but if you are tested positive, they would inform you in the interview right? Or would they just say nothing? because eventhough i was approved they never mentioned my medical exam

  6. Hey why did you reply to yourself?

Shhh mind your own bussiness, this site has helped me lots, thanks to all the people that ask and reply. My interview will be around the first 2 weeks of January and hopefully i go back to my fiancee and can finally have the life we want and fullfill our dreams. I am honestly afraid of the interview, is the last step!!! I still need to make my medical appointment, see if that fee must be paid, and then check all the paper work, read and read make sure all is good. Long breaths. Pray. And hope for the best.

Hope all of you get approved and all you guys want gets done.

    Best wishes to you all!!!

  7. Well Hi Sir, apparently no one replies to your posts, you may be somewhat annoying with your questions out of order. Since no one knows, I say you pay both fees? I dont think they will be mad at you or delay your visa or find ypu ineligible for your visa because you paid an extra fee. It may be worst if you actually need it and do not pay. You should call consulate? They may clear some of your questions. Common you can do it!!! And finally go back to your beloved fiancee!! The time waiting has come to an end, just practice your interview, be confident relax, and tell all the truth. Trust God, like America does. You have your paper work ready and all, just make your medical appointment, and there you go. Bests of luck. Hope all u want comes true.

    Best Wishes!!

    Love, Loyalty and God forever.

  8. Are the fingerprints cleared in the consulate, inthis case in Juarez. I have heard that for other immigrant visas there is a 26(USD) fee, which covers fingerprints, a call to make ur appointment, the delivery of ur visa and photographs. But supposedly I have an open appointment, so I dont have to schedule one. Doesnt the 13(USD) fee covers the fingerprints for K-1?

    Hope U reply, thanks

  11. I got a letter from from the Juarez consulate congratulating me that they can finally start processing my k-1 fiance visa case. My fiance and I got on it, got really really confused. Apparently we are following steps that we are not suppossed follow!!! So at the moment we are somewhat very confused. Does the 26(USD) Applicant Service fee apply to fiance visa? how about the 131(USD) Applicant processing fee? I understand I need a medical examination, do I have to pay for DNA testing? vaccinions? is now 181 (USD) with the 10% tax right? Can I just go to the consulate and go in my interview? Packet 3 Contains:All forms need to be obtained online. When you receive your acceptance/invitation letter. It will direct to a particular website. You can start getting the forms ready """"while you wait for the letter to arrive.""""

what letter to arrive am I waiting for? Then that DS-157 that is required but is not mentioned anywhere, what does that supposed to mean? can someone be so kind and tell us step by step what to do next, reuirements and fee estimation info please, we are very scared and desperate. When i get the forms needed d I hav to sign them or until I am in front of a officer? When would the fingerprints be cleared?

Thank you so much, hope u can help us please!!!

  13. Oct. 9th, NVC sent out our approved petition overseas, but still, as of now, we have not received any packets or notifications about our interview. We are in dire need of help! This process appears to take more than the indicated three to six months! We called the consulate and they replied that they had just sent the packet Dec. 1st. And how long does it take for Juarez to send anywhere in Mexico?

I hope that going to the consulate up front will change things. Although there are dangers in the area, is there a way to arrive safely and unharmed? Would it be a waste of money going for visa information or setting up an interview date? What is the best action to do at this time?

    Thanks for reading our post!

    Hello,

It is my understanding that the forms are readily available on this website http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html. Mexico does not send a packet 3, instead they send an open appointment letter advising you that they are ready for you to bring all the paperwork necessary for the interview. How did you get a hold of the Juarez consulate? Did they tell you that your open appointment letter was sent Dec 1st or what did they send to you?

We did not receive an appointment letter. We called the Juarez consulate by phone and they said the letter was sent and i believe the packet also. And, if by the 21st we don't receive anything to just call again.

  15. We received an email from the NVC in mid October saying that in one week they will send our case to Juarez consulate, after that message we have not received any notification from any. I have been trying to contact them but I am end up confused and with the non-helping answering machines. How can I contact them? The case number that we have says is not found, is like our case was erased from the map. We sent 2 inquiries to NVC and none have been replied.

    Anyone in a similar situation?

    Thank you

  16. Hello everyone, I am wondering how long I hae to stay in Juarez or what is the average stay. How many times do I have to isit Juarez?

I am honestly afraid of the many stories I have heard about Juarez and the surroundings. Where people get kipnnaped all the time, many people get killed evyday, people disappear and dead bodies are just there in the streets. No one does anything about it. People have told me not to go by myself, not to take nice clothing and do not give money to the needy, as less money as possible. Something really concerns me, If I do not take good clothes and nice shoes and all that, I wont give a good impression and will greater my chances of a visa denial. I know no one there, and suppousedly hotel owners investigate people, and others just go knoecking on doors to see what they can get fom people. Help!

  17. my mother came to work to the us, then she send people to bring me, at the border, the officers did not ask for

documentation and let us in. I have been comming to school since then, I fell in love, and want to spent the rest of our lives together. I have informed myself, that a person starts being illegal once they turn 18, after 180 days of illegal stay I wont be able to come back for three yrs, only with a pardon, if I stay for more than 1 year after 18, then is ten yrs, I believe the pardon can still apply. I will leave to my country before 180 days. My criminal record is clean. My fiancee is the US citicen and I already have a co-sponsor. We do not have evidence of luggage stamps, nor passport stams, or trips, it's just pictures, e-mails, letters, letters from other people testfying our relationship, and that is it... Are k-1 visas denied easily or usually? Would my situation be a problem?

    Thanks

  18. "I came into the US, without inspection", What do U mean?...

Is you or your ficance a U.S. citizen is what Im asking???? One must be in order to file the I-129F petition.

In my "job" the description WITHOUT Inspections means here ILLEGALLY

I have a co-sponsor for me, my fiancee is the us citizen, and the inspection thing is that I came illegally but never contacted anyone from the law, never lied, I was just asleep in the back seat of a car, and the officer said, oks go!

  19. I just turned 18, I have been living in the US since 12, and my girlfriend and I want to get married. I have not passed my 180 days of illegal stay, I will finish high school, and go back to my country right after that, and live with some family members. But I will not pass that deadline. We have been going to a notary/United farmer worker foundation employee...

Yesterday, we filled the 129f, but nothing has been sent off, we need some info still, should the stuff be sent before I go, or after I go? Also my fiancee's family dont like the idea at all. My fiancee and I have decided to marry and spent our lives togehter no matter what. I am a good student, I got accepted to UCLA, Berkely and such, but I cannot assist because of financial aid problems. Maybe this could help or something...I came into the US, without inspection, and have no criminal record at all.

We dont want to be separated, and I am very uncertain of this k-1 process, I have been stressing too much lately, and would like some advice. I plan on joining the military once I am back, IF I am back of course. So far we have 3 letters testifying our relationship, e-mails between us, some letters, some pictures, some phone bills. But we havent gotten anything related to the church, we have not talked to a priest or anything like that either. I want to minimize the chances of the process being delayed, I am paranoid and scared, I love my ...help!
