    Hi Everyone!

    Does anyone know if my son entered the US on a k2 visa and I want to cancel it and use n-600 (application for citizenship) If I can do this?

    I am Canadian the father was born and raised in the US. We never filled for a birth abroad but he is entitled to US citizenship through his dad.

    Would it be a problem to stop including my son on the AOS?

    NEED help. Can't get through to anyone by phone!!

    Since your son has entered the US, there is no need to cancel the K2 as it is a single entry visa. Follow the instructions for Form N-600.     I was hoping I wouldn't have to file the AOS for him and only apply for citizenship. It would then save me $600 if I don't have to file his AOS. Any idea

    Montreal Embassy Packet 3 Questions...Please Help

    Can Anyone tell me if I should send back packet 3 checklist before having completed the new ds-160 on-line? I want to speed things up...I have completed my ds-160 on-line but am waiting to get my sons renewed passport back before I can complete his...

    I REALLY don't want to wait an extra 2 weeks but I also don;t want them to return it to me?? Instructions aren't very specific....PLease help

    I am new to this forum but REALLY NEED HELP

    I received my packet from the consulate and in step one I am told to complete and return to this office the enclosed form DS-230 part 1.

    It goes on to say that DS-160 is also required for each applicant, it must be completed online,then print 2 copies along with the confirmation receipt.

    IT DOES NOT tell me whether I need to return it with the DS-230 part 1...Do I just bring it with me to the interview??

    On the second page it states " once we recieve and process the completed form DS-230 part 1 and your document checklist we will send you an appointment letter.

    I don't want to give them any reason to return this...CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE ??
