Do you think it is necessary to wait to have my police certificate in hand before mailing off packet 3 for my K1 interview? I also haven't received my physical packet 3 despite getting noa2 on the 14th August. The embassy have my stuff though, I phoned them and they gave me a web link to follow. Aside from the police certificate i'm pretty much good to go. Cheers for any input. I know this is impatient but i'm sure everyone here can relate to that!
We mailed our packet 3, before having police cert in hand. We sent in the police cert request abt 2 weeks ago, so hopefully that will be in the mail this week

yeah, go for it!!!!
my mobile phone is in my mom's name but I am listed as administrator on the account, so some of my statements have her name and some in mine, but if it is from the U.S to your loved ones number that is proof!!
best wishes,

hi,
I'm not this far yet but have been reading up, lol
question #1, yes, I believe so, that is what I will be doing as I do not meet income requirements
question #2, not sure, but this is what i copied n pasted off of the instructions on the form: "If your claimed incomeincludes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income,or income from any other source, you may also includeevidence of that income."
Best Wishes,

Hi everyone,
We filed April 23rd, VCS, and yippie, i see march filers have begun, closer and closer, yes!
My love is coming to the US for the very first time, August 1st, I'll pick him up at JFK.
He is only bringing our NOA1 receipt, and return flight receipt, hope that is enough.
I flew to Heathrow in March, before we filed, and was asked a few questions at entry: why are you here, "visiting friends".
How do you know them, "internet"
He went on to say, along the lines, how unsafe that could be, lol
I assured him we spoke a long while and I was quite confident.
He asked where i was staying and I had booked an apartment rental for 5 days, he questioned that, i showed him my receipt and explained it was an alternative to hotel accomodations, lol.
And I also had to tell him I had 3 children back home, and was enrolled in a course, produced my paper with that info on it too.
I didn't know you could be turned away so I wasn't nervous about that, just a little embarrassed having to answer all those questions, lol.
So I hope Tom doesn't have any problems coming through JFK.
He is staying 4 weeks but we were contemplating him staying the full 90 days allowed in hope that we get our NOA2 before he has to leave end of October, and he'd go back for the medical and interview.
Hopeful and positive thinking we are, lol.
I am so thankful for finding this site, it is a Godsend.
Best wishes to all

We all do not have the same lot in life, some of us live paycheck to paycheck and that's just how it is.
My love and I are no youngsters, I like to think that we've "been there, done that", and have learned some of life's lessons both being married before.
And you know, in a long distance relationship like this I find you communicate on such a deep level, we talk about everything. We know what we are getting into.
God, (yes, I'm praying here, lol) if we can get through this visa process, we can weather any storms, be it financial or whatever.
We aren't going through all this to divorce over finances in a few years.
And you have to consider the relocation to another country, that takes time to get established, and you are adjusting to a whole new way of life, new country, new home, new family, and new job.....(even have to get drivers license from scratch).............that income is what we need, you know, TWO PEOPLE, like most households have, both working outside home, we know this, but until then ..............
Like using me as an example, I have been stay at home mom for 15 years, I divorced my "income", I am going to trade school, then my love will come and he will seek employment, but as far as the income part of paperwork, I have none, I will be working come July when I get certified, until then, I will submit that information, and ask a family member, my parents to co-sponsor.
Then we will go on to live happily ever after, AMEN!!
