Yes every thing was done year ago, we were told case is getting forward to Islamabad. Not sure if parents are in same priority list as spouses. Islamabad embassy busy dealing with Afghanies.

We are still waiting for interview date in Pakistan.

I did all the documentation my self for my parents. I am used to of doing paperwork myself. If you have not done immigration paper work before go for lawyer. If you have prior experience of immigration paper work It’s straight forward. If you make mistake it will delay acceptance of the case. I miss understood documentation requirements and causes for 4 months delay.

I am U.S citizen, my parents are in Pakistan I filed their immigration. we received notification in Jun 2022 that all documents are accepted and approved we should wait for interview call from Islamabad. we have been waiting since then. is there any timeline how long does it take ?

any help is appreciated.

Thanks for help, I was able to collect most of the required documents, just one last question what photographs do I need to upload under civil documents upload section ?

Note that police certificates from Pakistan are NOT required.  Do not waste money and effort getting them.

 

thanks for sharing the link. I understand that there are no documents required to submit DS-260 but after there are civil documents required. 

I am trying to find out what are list of CIVIL documents they need to submit. do they need their birth certificate or just mines also do they need medical report ? that's why I mentioned information at the following link is confusing.

I am US citizen and wants to bring my parents to USA from Pakistan. I filed I-130 which is approved. I have also filed affidavit of support online and now second stage is for DS-260 I am totally confuse about this whole civil documents thing. i can not find a clear definition of what are civil documents for Parents for DS-260. I appreciate if some one can provide me any reference.

On May 6, 2014, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Today is Nov 06 2014 and completes 6 months. and Vermont service center processing time is 6 months as well. when should i expect their decision ?

VSC received my I751 application by May 06 2014 and they sent me Biometric appointment letter I-797c NOA by May 16 2014.

I wonder i didn't received 1 year extension NOA letter ?

I went Dubai while in AP informed embassy about my move and told them my new address which i arrived there. After 2 months of my arrival embassy contacted me and asked me to come back and submit my passport, i did got stamped on my passport and now in U.S

I will keep track of this thread and will try my best if i can help any one.

today I have received my visa with immigration packet. Thank you all specially eAbbas she is my friend of difficult time and we have been helping each other facing this difficult time.

I pray for her Allah will help her soon.

eAbbas i tell you some thing to pray is read Sora-e-Ahzab every night starting from thursday upto next 6 days and Allah will help solve your problem.

Congrats. I will most likely have to do the same thing. I have already wasted 3.5 years on a K1 for them to use the excuse it Expired. That is bureaucracy at it's finest and it was unjust and grossly unfair. I have contacted a Lawyer who has submitted a request via Legalnet.com for them to investigate. Additionally I am seeking the help of the Senator. I have little faith that either will be successful at persuading the ISL Consulate to reconsider. This means starting over with a K1 or getting married and hope they approve that. I believe I have seen some examples on here where even though they married they were still denied. I wanted to get married in the US so my family and friends could attend but I guess that is out of the question now. And I just want to say that what they are making the EAbbas family go through is criminal and I am sorry for that and I pray for you every day.

Ohhhhh no you have been waiting 3.5 years for k1, who suggested you to wait for that long for K1 !!! wise decision would be go for marry asap.

For Islamabad, believe me involving senators or congressman does not help at all, and having lawyer involved in admin process is waste of money, every lawyer promise to help you out in admin process but these are just efforts to make some money.

having AP from Islamabad is matter of national security and U.S is not like Pakistan that is why no work around in U.S in terms of AP at-least.

Beauty of Democracy in U.S is I wrote an email to president Obama and he replied to my concerns after 3-4 months, may be cuz of bulk of emails.

I know that Pakistanis have been caught a lot of fraudulent immigration cases that's why it is Islamabad U.S embassy responsibility to filter those fraud cases.

Since last few years we have been found bad guys in U.S found involved in illegal, even Pakistani govt does not take care right of their own people then why other country will take care of us.

Sorry guys but we are providing reasons to U.S embassy to treat all Pakistani people as fraud people that's why they want to wash us thoroughly before letting us enter into their country.

Specially cases of DESI and GORA Shadi where unmarried guys getting marry with divorced ladies having kids and they are not taking care of their religion/appearance/children/age/education. Even purpose of these kind of marriages can be identified by us !!!

I am sure that if U.S allow to marry with U.S donkey to offer nationality, Pakistani guys will be interested for that just for the sake of getting entered into U.S,

I believe U.S embassy making decision on fair bases but off course they are taking long time because of number of cases filed in U.S embassy.

Pakistanis are very intelligent nation but our direction is wrong, from Govt sector to public sector every one do corruption and want short cuts.

It is heart breaking to have new story every day here in this thread, but I am sure there are many black sheep s with us here who are crying with white sheep s as well and they are responsible for that not U.S embassy.
