  1. RECEIVED WELCOME NOTICE BY US MAIL TODAY!

any news from Shelly n Jay?

Not yet, she wasn't online since the 21st. Hope everything is alright.

Yep. Sincerely wish they are okey..

Now we are just waiting for a card. Good we had an interview at the Garden City Office in NYC, so stamp was put right away. Now we have to get rid of that notice from ssn and driver license and USCIS will be gone for some time.

    what notice ?

  2. thanks and gud luck to all..

The interview was simple and to the point.. just asked each of us for personal details..work details.. joint docs..pictures etc. thats it. abt 15 min..

Got email from CRIS - Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 27, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

    Peace until 2011..

  3. Hmm..thanks for that info.

I'm not sure if that will work as it talks about showing the last 3 years of taxes that I have filed, etc. etc. and it seems like it's just assisting the sponsor in surpassing the poverty line.

    My husband doesn't work...

I think I'll just have his parents fill out the co-sponsor paperwork in the case that we have an interview.

I am the USC and my hubby is the sponsored immigrant whose income was shown without an I-864 A co-sponsor form.. they've obviously not sent an RFE for us and we r awaiting interview. I did have a job for last 5 years though after I moved out of state, no job yet.

  4. I work in the accounting department for major corporations, doing Accounts Receivable/payable. I had a job interview last week and it went really well. Now I'm on pins and needles waiting for their response sometime today. We got our co sponsor now and am waiting for them to return everything we need from them. Which reminds me, gotta work on AOS paperwork today. I need to do something besides sit around and wait for a phone call!

congrats on your wedding.. this is a helful forum.

  5. Answer and Quest similar to Terryns:

Can the intending immigrant co-sponsor I-864.. bcos the USC spponsor does not work now, although she has ben working 5 yrs past. The intending immigrant makes 3 times more than whats required.. Also have joint bank accounts & filed joint returns..

It says on form the intending immmigrant as loong as he will prove to continue working for same company after receiving GC is eligible to co=sponsor and don't need form I-864 A..since living on same household.

Any one in a similar position ? :innocent:

We have submitted with above and No RFE has been received yet until date of Interview next month. So hoping this is accepted..

  6. Yesterday we received a letter for our interview!!! July 28.

Now if we would just hear something on the EAD and AP!

Chibby, bummer on the spreadsheet. Thanks so much for keeping it updated.

Congratulations on the interview date !!!

At least it was a July date, I have noted that they have already started issuing dates in August, as of this week, so it appears that most of the July dates are now taken.

Make sure you have all the backup docs with you, especially those that deal with evidence of a bona fide relationship/marriage.

Your EAD should come very soon now, ours came two weeks after we had notice of our interview date. But remember you will turn the EAD in to the IO, at interview time.

Our interviews are this next week, will keep all of you posted.

    Best wishes to all !!!

Well good news we got the interview letter yesterday. It will be July 23, 3 days after our 2nd Anniversary. We have the copy of what we submitted to bring to the interview along with a few of those items of a bonafide marriage. I have a few questions, it states to bring my divorce degree along with my custody paper for my children? I do not have a separate custody paper for my children from my previous marriage, I have only the complete divorce document that is like 50 pages! Does anyone know if there is a supplemental for this or is that okay to bring? Thanks!

I guess u cud get the records from your county office.. since I did get a RECORD OF SAME.. just login to vitalrecords.. or go to your state site & it will direct u to this site..pay online and u get any record of marriage or divorce.. ITS THE OFFICIAL RECORD.. but keep with u the 50 page one for interview if they'd like to see it.
