It's been a long while since I visited VJ. Still in Wenatchee, and loving it. Will be going to Ocean Shores this weekend and hoping that someone knows where I might be able to buy some Canadian goodies. I have ordered alot of it online, or shopped while I was there, but hope that someone can point me in a good direction.

Just checked status again. The touched date says 11/26/07, tomorrow. Very odd!

Biometrics done this morning. Fast and easy in Spokane. But the three hour drive each way sucked

Looked at my case status online, touched today due to the Biometrics.

My Husband (then fiance), surprised me for my 38th birthday and flew me to Honolulu. After getting soaked in the rain, on the way to an amazing dinner, we walked along the beach. He dropped to one knee, in front of a ton of people and proposed. We have been married almost 3 years now and it just keeps getting better. Last night I came home after a crazy week of working two jobs. The lights were dimmed, the table was beautifully set, candles and roses included and the house smelled delicious. My man came out of the kitchen dressed to kill and told me that he loved and appreciated me. Life doesn't get much better than this

I don't want to make a mess of the list. I received my biometrics appointment letter yesterday. 9:00 am Nov 23rd at the Spokane office. Thanks to all that maintain the list.

I was denied entry at the border while driving down to spend some time with my now husband. That was before we had applied. I had evidence of returning within a few weeks, but due to the size of my suitcase, they made the decision to deny entry. And that was while I was with my fiance and his parents. I had crossed that same border dozens of time in the past. After that day, we got our paperwork in right away, jumped through all of the hoops and were finally scheduled for an interview on Jan 10th, 2005. I didn't want to spend new years without him, so we drove over the border to the US. They didn't even ask my name. Luck of the draw.

There's no requirement to file exactly 90 days before the card expires. You can file I-751 one week before your card expires and it's still gonna be okay.

Thanks for that. We have been having so much fun this summer, renovating our house and riding, that we didn't get it sent until today. I thought my green card expired at the end of October, but it expires on October 3rd. We managed to get it all in, and sent today. Will arrive at NSC by noon tomorrow. I hope we made it in time as I have two jobs, and want to go to Canada for Thanksgiving next month!
