  1. My mom received Multiple Tourist Visa last year, We don't have much of what they asking on the website, but we go through still, I am the one who fill up all the papers, schedule her interview online and she went there for interview and they granted her visa.. She is 50years old that time, just a housewife never been work and a widow, I guess the only tied up that will show is my youngest brother whose 12 yrs old...

Nothing we can help to guaranty them a visa but nothing wrong if we try and be lucky :) so my suggesstion go for it but don't expect too much just be open that they can denied it.

Goodluck! Let me know if I can help in other way.

    -Alma

Thank you Alma!!! I really appreciate your reply dear. Was kinda busy, sorry for the late reply. My mom and dad are old, mom is 58 and dad is 60. They really don't have the ties to go back home but my hubby will write to the consul that he's not gonna ruin his military retirement pretty soon by not sending them home. We just wanted them to visit us for a while. I really hope they'll be granted a visa. Yeah we'll still goin to try whatever the outcome will be. Thank you so much for the advice dear. Have a good one ;-) God bless you dear

    Sincerely,

    Reina

  2. I helped my mom submit an application for a visitor visa. She is 62 years old, a retired elementary school teacher. Her interview at the US Embassy is this coming Friday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. I can send you some feedback on the outcome, if you'd like.

Anh map is correct, your parents have to establish strong ties to the Philippines to have a higher chance of being granted one.

My mom has never been on an international trip before, and my sister (the only remaining sibling in the Philippines) is an independent...not sure exactly what the outcome will be, but we have a baby on the way (c-section scheduled on October 26!), and we're hoping she could visit. My dad is unable to come, he just had major surgery, and it not fit to travel just yet.

Am helping her answer some common interview questions this week so she can feel more confident.

Thank you so much for the inputs. Yes pls update me what happened to your mom's interview. I'm so sorry to reply so late, was kinda busy recently. Thank you so much, appreciate all your effort dear. Have a speed recovery from your surgery!!! God bless dear ;-)

    Sincerely,

    Reina

  3. They can apply for a tourist visa at the embassy. They will need to show strong ties to home at their interview(s) in order to be approved. There isn't really anything that you can do to help them get a visa.

Once you are a citizen you can petition for them to obtain an immigrant visa.

Thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate it  God bless

  4. Good day everyone! If someone had experienced getting their parents tourist visa to come visit them here in the US, can you pls tell me how you do yours? I've heard a lot of horrible denials from tourist visas. We also had talked to a lawyer about getting through this path. I've only been a year here in the US. I know I can petition them after 3yrs but can't wait for them to come see USA. Your input is so much appreciated. God bless everybody!!! :help: :help: :help: :help: :help::dance::innocent:

  5. Good day everyone, but I'm definitely not good, I'm piss with this doctor. If anyone who's near tacoma, puyallup, federal way or WASHINGTON AREA. Don't be fool that this Dr. Renato Fajardo charge very minimal amount with your transcription for AOS. If you request for transcription, he will seal lacking forms or I-693. Just be aware of this silly doctor!!! He doesn't know what his doin definitely. I trust him because he is a Filipino, but no, Filipinos that do business don't care if you are a Filipino.

Now I did the whole medical thing because my husband wants to be sure that there's no possible RFE. But take note I'm still good for just a transcription because I'm not over a year took the whole medical thingy.

  6. Good evening everybody!!! Thank you for the quick replies... I already figure it out... There are a lot of mistakes that the CS made in my I-693... There are a lot of new forms or pages that were lacking from his I-693. Good thing I have a friend that filed ahead of us so I have a comparison of the forms and how her CS filled up hers. This CS just sucks bigtime... Now I have to pay again and that cause us delay to the process... Oh well... Thank you everyone!!! happy easter in advance!!! God bless :innocent:

  7. Good Day Everyone! Me and my husband are confused of the RFE that we got today on I-693. I arrived here last Oct. 31, 2009 got the vaccination in the Phil and all. We're now confused of what the USCIS need. Here's the notice---

"You have indicated that you last entered the United States as a K or V non-immigrant. Please submit a properly completed and signed copy of the medical exam conducted overseas on Form DS-2053, Medical Examination for immigrant or Refugee Applicant, for the applicant on Form I-485.

If you do not have a completed Form DS-2053, please submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693, Report of MEdical Examination and Vaccination Record, (Rev. 06/05/08 or later) for the applicant on Form I-485. The medical examination must be conducted by a civil surgeon who has been designated by USCIS and must be issuedwithin one year of filing Form I-485.

We had the civil surgeon transcribe my Vaccination Record from the Phil (St. Lukes). But what else they need from us?

They didn't specify what they need... Please help us...

We were thinking of doing the whole thing again plus the TB, PE and Syphilis that the secretary of the CS advice us to do. We also called the USCIS military help line if they can tell us what they need, but we got nothing. They just said to send I-693 again. Please help us, we're in dire need of help. Thank you in advance.

Happy easter in advance! God bless;-0

    Sincerely,

    Reina Wagner

  8. We are located in Everett. My husband had his medical done in Lynnwood. We called everywhere and finally found this place. It cost $155. I am sorry but dont remember the doctors name. If you take the I=5 and get off on the 196th street exit and go west. Just pass evergreen, hwy 99, there is a chinese restaurant on the left and just pass that is a drs office. Thats it. It is across the street almost from Trader Joes. Hope that helps.

It would be worth the drive to check it out. We had it done in June so price is still probably the same.

Thank you for the info.... ok we will try to visit... but that kinda expensive for a transcription... Thanks a lot, i appreciate the reply... God bless.... Happy New Year!!!!

  9. Yes, definitely call around some more.. even the ones that might just seem a little far off. I'm in the Tacoma area and I call some that were close and only to find out when I got into the office, that they were trying to charge a different price or acted like they never said what they said to me on the phone ($50 - $80 on phone, then when I got there, $150 - $175)... talk about wasting my time.

I got into an argument with one lady that said that the DS-3025 form was not sufficient enough as proof of what shots she got and that my wife had to show actual shot records... lol... I almost wanted to just drive up there and call her an idiot... before hanging up I just told her to go to the USCIS site and print up the procedures on how to handle the I-693 as she seems to be out of date on it(was said in a nastier way as I was really getting irritated with her)

If you are looking for a cheaper one, there is a CS lady out in Lacey, WA... I think she is the only one listed there, that will transcribe for just $50, I think... and another one out in Federal Way that will just transcribe for I think $70... You have to make sure all your shots are up to date before having them do it

I ended up using Dr. Arnold (before she retired, from what I heard), and this was after contacting those two CS I just mentioned as I was really getting fed up with the varying in prices for transcription...

We already sent in our AOS/EAD/EP and got our NOA 1 already, so hoping that we don't get a RFE for the I-693 for going out of state.

Here are the two CS I mentioned.. if we get an RFE for the I-693, we'll end up going to one of them.

    98003 - Federal Way, WA

    Dr. Renato V Fajardo

34616 11th Place South, Suite 3, Federal Way, WA 98003

    (253) 874-5148

    98503 - Lacey, WA

    Dr. Lien Mong Tran

1202 Sleater Kinney Road SE, Lacey, WA 98503

    (360) 456-5541

    Ingats!

Thank you for the inputs... I appreaciate it a lot.... Ok I will call some more CS, and call the 2 other that you said.... That's so nice of you helping me, thank you again... Have a prosperous New Year 2010 to your family!!! God bless

  10. that's really expensive...double check if that's just for transcription and not a new medical exam package, that's the average price for med exam here in RI

send a PM to my friend evemonte, she's from your area

Thank you for the quick response!!! Ok I will PM her... Thank you so much... I appreciate it... Happy New Year!!! God bless

  11. Good morning vjers!!! I just called the nearest civil surgeon recommended by USCIS site in our place and the price is so expensive, way expensive than my other friends at other states... Here they charge $350 plus if you need another shots and there is additional fee per shot.... Its far expensive to all the fees that I have read in here at vj...

Can someone tell me where did you had your transcription in Washington? that's of course cheap... My friend had hers for only $30 but she's in Tennessee... I would appreciate your inputs... Thank you in advance... God bless

  12. Good day to everyone! I was so busy when I arrived here in the States... I should have posted early on, but I have my wedding a couple of days after, I'm sorry, but better late than never.... My POE is in Hawaii and I was so nervous when I arrived there... But I was so surprised that the immigration officer didn't ask me anything.... My visa has an error that's why I'm kinda nervous... The town of my hubby was misspelled, instead or Spanaway, it has typographical error, its spelled as Sapanaway... But all is well, no question at all, they just check my papers,awwww.... Thank God!!!!

  13. There's no special treatment for US military... My fiancee is also in the military... You're just lucky to have a faster approval... The enlistment contract will suffice.. You need last 3yrs W2, ITR and recent pay stubs. Your fiancee will be fince during her interview... God bless on your journey...

 Hello i am new here.heres my questions?

I am currently active duty military, I was not able to get a employment letter but i was able to get a employment verification from DFAS.also included my Enlisted record brief.also included my reenlistment contract.these are for the affidavit of support.will these documents be enough for proof of employment?

Also my tax return from last year is a joint return with my ex wife, i was in Iraq at the time.will this be a problem? I have put so much into getting my fiancee here to the states.just starting to worry me.everything is going faster than we expected.it only took 2months for UCIS to approve her application.Does US military get special treatment?

  14. Its been 6 working days from the time I had my interview... I haven't received any text from AIR21 until now... What taking them so long to send off my visa?!!!! I'm mad at there system now... Mindanao is far from Bacolod, but they got their visa just 3days... So sad that I have to wait 'til the last minute to buy the ticket... Disorganize USEM!!!:crying:

  15. hello loveaboo!!! My father's middle name is also wrong on my BC. But good thing that the initials are the same... Instead or Rodero, its wrongly written as Romualdez, maybe because they're both the same R. initials..... I didn't encounter any problem during my interview.... Just put the initials, they'll not ask you... I hope this helps... God bless

  16. To all my friends here at vj, I thank you for all the inputs that you shared... I'm not as active in here, but I do read a lot... This site really helps... Thank you for all the advices and ideas... Thank you dear Genalyn and Evelyn and to everybody!!! You're an angel sent from above...

To all those who will be having there interview, pray and just relax and be confident and answer loud with conviction... I haven't heard a K1 visa today (Oct.15,2009) was disapproved. God bless :dance::rofl:
