  2. Hello to all!

Yeah!!! This Vermont thing is starting to look so much better

As I lived in New York for about 8 months with my fiancé I would say that it is very important to give time for the another half who is moving from another country just to adjust to the new surroundings... It´s a huge change, all the things you have in USA compared to what other cultures have in the world....BIG, BIG things!

I was at first of course totally, positively amazed what there is to offer to new peopple. But then I started missing the old things back in Finland, it was still the place my heart was. So I had this inner fighting about what to like about and hate in the new country. It was hard for me and I really made it hard for my fiancé too. And especially when there are children and separation envolved it´s going to make things even harder...

I guess if you take things slower it can make the change a little easier to bare....

In New York, and i guess almost in any where in the USA now, the good thing with the language is that there can be found a lots of peopple who speak even worse English than you do. So the language barrier will not be a great problem for most of us. And even my son learnt English just by listening kids´ tv there. Seems like the change could be easier for children that it is for adults..... They are always so positive, open and strong with new thigs in life.

So lets keep hoping good winds for Vermont!

  3. Hmm... I estimate end of June-Early July for first approvals... hope its like next week... gosh, this wait sux....

    Hi ,

Yes thats what I was thinking as well..Most likely will start to see some in June ,,

Lets hope .. Have to heep are chin up

    chao

So I've been keeping an eye on the IGOR LIST (http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/vsc.aspx) and seems like it takes them about a half of a month to process one month of petitions, seeing as the December filers first started getting approved first of April. And now its mid april and January filers are starting to get approved. Well if this is the case, they will be working on February filers at the start of May, and finish with them in the middle of may. So My estimate is now (if this continues like this), that us March Filers may see approvals Mid-May and finish up with us by early June (which means Ill be like around end of may, if so).

I dunno if it will go this way, but im just thinking if this trend continues (we will see if Feb approvals start around may 1st).

Anyway, Im happy thinking it will.. so thats what ill think. LoL..

Positive thinking!!!! That´s what i need to hear right now..... the end of May sounds so much better for me than the July!!!:dance::yes:

Especially now when i got into school that starts in NYC in September....

    Thumps UP!
