  1. I would file a written response to the USCIS regarding the circumstances of the divorce. If you felt that he falsey married you just to get he Greencard, you can submit a letter claiming that. It will not revolk his current Greencard status, but it will put him on the level playing field for whe he comes for renewal or if the USCIS is considering whether he can sustain himself, after divorcing you, and not be a burden to the government.

You're not asking for the government to take away his Greencard, so I don't feel that you are trying to be vindictive- just tell your side of what happened. If you felt that the marriage was done under a false pretext, then I would state that. At the end, you are providing the USCIS with truthful information that they need to be fair and balanced.

    Hope all goes well.

I am wondering about this situation and the green card.

Usually a conditional permanent resident status needs to be reviewed in 2 years or so. That is how it is in our situation. That being the case, if conditions are not met or if the resident does not attend the required meeting, seems to me that the card would not be renewed and perhaps the visa process cancelled? Just thinking out loud here perhaps someone else knows more?

  2. Ive been reading up on this one. I believe that if you have a family business and your spouse works for that business and, if she or he files a separate business return then they too can get credits of work over and above the 4 allowed. For example, if I make over the designated amount equating to 4 credits I believe the remainder can be shared. I dont know how many or how its caculated for a family busines but its worth looking into. Anybody know any more about this?

  3. I recently had a booster for TDAP I think called boosterix that includes the necessary vaccinations for the TDAP requirement. You could ask the county health dept. about that. If not, I believe the TD vaccine meets the requirement. I one of those is only given to children under a certain age and then another one is given to adults. I was just discussing it with my friend who is a nurse. Look up the vaccine requirements on the USCIS website too so you can have a better idea of the vaccine names and age requirements. Good luck!

Did you have to have it done by a civil surgeon? Can I get it done by the county or someone else?

  4. My wife when in peru had her vaccinations done. At least thats what I thought but looking carefully at her 3025 form it is marked "incomplete" and that is because they say she is needing a 2nd and 3rd dose of TDAP vaccination. I cant find any civil surgeon in my area that does that vaccination only the county clinic and they dont give 2nd and 3rd doses to someone her age.

Not sure what to do or who to talk to. its the only vaccination she is supposed to be missing. Has anyone had to deal with this situation before?

  5. My fiancee arrived with the K-1 visa about a month ago. I hadnt looked at what was returned to her until today and I found that there is no I-94 form which I understand I need for AOS. In fact, they didnt return any forms at all except some of the application data. All she got was the visa stapled to her passport.

Im concerned as to what to do to start the AOS process can anyone advise me?

  7. Trying to figure out why I got an NOA. I send in my I-129F with all documentation. I now recieved an Initial evidence request asking for items that I am certain I sent them as I made the 3 copies of everything. Virtually everything they ask for I know was sent...Proof of citizenship, evidence of having met in person, circumstance of meeting ..is it usual to get a request for evidence already in their posession?
