do you i have to have all that money in the bank or just a job that will bring in 18,212 a year? What if my fiance is coming in with hardly anything? And what if they say that we don´t have enough? What are the options in that case?

Hello! I just filed the K1 Fiance Visa, and according to Visajourney´s calculations, the petition should be accepted between August 25 and September 15. We´re thinking the interview date will be in October. In July I will be moving to Costa Rica to live with my fiance, be there for his interview, and then hopefully come back to California together once he is given his visa. I will be working, teaching English while I´m there. What I´m wondering is, will it be a problem when it comes to turning in the affidavit of support? obviously, i won´t be living in the US so I will only have job info for my job in CR. will it be enough to show our combined savings and bank statements? if so, how much would be a good amount to have to prove to them that we have enough to be fine coming back to the US. ? if not, would it work if we had a co-sponsor? eeep! help!

hello! i´m getting ready to send of my K1 Fiance Visa and am wondering if it matters that someone other than myself wrote the check for the $455.00 filing fee. I have a joint account with my mother, though this is not obvious on the check, and she was the one that wrote the check. should i get a print out from the bank, saying it´s a joint account or some kind of document with my name on it? or will it be okay without any clarification? thank youu!

hello! I´m filling out the K1 fiance visa and I´m wondering if I have put some answers from the G-325A on a separate sheet, do i need to make 4 copies, one for each page in the set, or just 1 copy for the whole set? Also, I have one tiny little scribble (I accidentally added an unneeded letter at the end of a word so I just scribbled that one letter out)....will it be okay, or do i have to do that sheet over? Thank youuuuu!
