  1. i-129f APPROVED

my fiance returns to Ireland in two weeks, and we are hoping to have all paperwork done for the next phase...

so in terms of the i-134, I will be filing one out as will my mother as our co-sponsor.

To my knowledge- i will fill out the form- send the 70 bucks or whatever with him, as well as recent tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, letter from employer (what does that need to state??) and bank letters saying when the account was opened, how much has been deposited and current balance...

My mother will do the above as well, but since she is self employed she will need a letter stating such and more tax returns?

Anything else i can send with him...

was planning on giving him current photos with us, him with my family, receipts of wedding stuff, and a current letter of intent, correct?

    ANY HELP appreciated!!!

  2. I am a server at a restaurant, and due to such, I do not have health insurance.

Weird question, but WI offers a health insurance through the govt for middle class workers.

I am hesitant however to apply for it, being that we are awaiting our I-129f approval, and will need to show proof of support for mr foreign fiance (my mother is our co-sponsor)...

It is to my understanding that the sponsor is to prove that my fiance will not become a govt charge, so will this screw things up if i get this insurance through the govt?

    HELP!!!

  3. sent out the petition and just for NOA1...

now what documents do we gather for the next stage(s)..

we have the beneficiary's birth certificate, immunization records (and they are all up to date), and police cert.

what do I as the petitioner need to gather?

meant to say just GOT NOA1 TODAY!!!

    typo :)

  4. I have read on VJ previously that the beneficiary for the K1 process will need to show proof of having 1 year paid health insurance.

    Is this accurate?

If so, at which point of our filing process will we need to get this? We are just sending out our petition.

Also, does anyone know what Insurance companies offer this??

  5. We are sending out our I-129f this week, and are trying to plan out wedding stuff for next year.

We obviously will be married within the 90 days or the Visa approval,

and were thinking that June, 2010 would be ok to do a reception here in the States.

However, I understand that the beneficiary cannot leave the States until the AOS is processed.

We are trying to plan out when a good time for our reception in the UK would be.

Thoughts as to how long it will take to receive approval and AOS?

Trying to play it on the safe side.

  6. my fiance (foreign) came across a book published in 2006, and it states that in order to get the i-129f approved, as well as the entire K1 process, you need to show proof of wedding plans??

has anyone else come across this?

been reading VJ since December, and this is the first i am hearing of this..

    it is necessary?

or for proof of ongoing relationship for his interview, would it help to have a deposit on a wedding dress/ venue/ date/ wedding rings purchased??

  7. when listing my (USC) and my foreign fiance's housing history, should we also list the time(s) in which we lived together?

For example, he was in the USA for 90 days last summer, will be here for 5 months this summer, and I was in IRE with him for 4 months.

do we list that or just leave that time period without information?

  8. USCIS will assign an A# after they receive your patition arround the time they approve the I-129F, write "NONE" there.

Later when adjusting status, the K-1 holder will fill out another G-325A, at that time the A# will be known, it will be on the I-129F approval notice.

thank you! you guys are so helpful!!
