I hope it doesn't take as long too! For my attorneys office the average is 8 months though.

Thankfully I got to keep my EAD and applied for my MA ID before I sent the GC back.

Either way I am approved and as far as I am aware I will be eligible for citizenship in 3 years.

The part that was missed on my medical was in part 2 in my overall health classification.

Apparently one TINY box wasn't ticked so it voided my medical.

We ALL missed that the medical was incomplete, me husband, attorney, doctor ant IO's looking at my case.

I did update the spreadsheet awhile back I don't know what happened.

Right now we are stuck in limbo.

Our I-130 was approved at our interview on September 8th.

At the interview we discovered that our medical was incomplete so we got an RFE.

We turned in our new medical and the I-485 was approved October 6th.

Our limbo is the fact that I was issued th CR and not the IR.

This past week we returned the wrong GC and I am going to very patiently wait for the new card to eventually come.

We were told it could take up to 8 months!!!!!

So when I receive the receipt notice I will be getting the famous passport stamp!

We had our interview on the 8th and received a RFE for our medical that was missing a check in part 2!!!

Our I-130 was approved and there were no other issues with our application.....

I just wonder why this wasn't caught at the NBC...

and on my interview I will let them know what I think about this..

I'm sure that will accomplish a lot besides pissing off the interviewer who holds your fate in his or her hands.

WOW! You will end up back HOME being able to travel anytime you want just not to the USA!

Ok now that I have calmed down from my excitement what do I need to bring with me to the ss office to get my ssn?

Mr. Mailman brought me my EAD today!

I only had one update and that was to say my card production was ordered!

Received in the mail...an ad from Comcast...nothing else not even bills .

You got your interview date before the EAD approval...? That's weird...by the time you'll receive it is going to be useless since you'll have your GC soon after...But they have to keep themselves busy with something...

I'm not going to complain as long as I get a GC I'm going to be happy.

At least my $1400 is being spent wisely!

We got our interview date September 8th.

We have had no emails nor touches just the letter in the mail.

Congrats to everyone getting their gc's, eads, ap's interview dates etc!

I have heard nothing since July 21st. I'm trying really hard to be patient but it's so tough!

Hopefully next week will be my week!

What are the chances of getting transfered if you had your paperwork completed by an attorney?

I have never claimed not to be illegal I said I am NOT THE SAME as every illegal.

AND I HAVE DONE NONE OF THAT. My husband and I are purposely NOT having children until this is all resolved one way or another.

I have never been to a doctor in the US because I can't afford to pay out of pocket expenses. My husband gets crippled with taxes because he can't file as married and he works a s**t load of extra hours to support both of us.

MAybe it would be better that you get all the facts?
