We just got our interview date at the embassy: June 18th! The timing is perfect, I will be down there visiting her from the 9th to the 21st. For those of you still waiting for your NOA2s, you are in my thoughts. I pray that you receive your approvals soon. Once you do, everything really does move much more quickly. Yeah the Colombia mail is also very slow. We actually just read in the Colombia embassy section that we can send in the packet 3 forms as soon the embassy receives our approved petition. Fortunately, Alejandra lives pretty close to the embassy so she is going to drop that off tomorrow instead of sending it by mail. Hopefully we will have the interview date very soon. Hey everyone! Now I've wanted to visit Colombia for yearsssssss and believe my dream will finally come true. Hubby and I want to fly to Bogota in the beginning of August and stay for about 10 days.

I've found tickets for $304 roundtrip Orlando/Bogota. Any ideas of where I can get an even better deal?

If possible, it'd be nice to fly to Bogota and fly back from Cartagena or vice versa since I want to visit those cities plus Medellin (of course).

You are going to have a great time! Are you going to Cartagena and Bogota? $304 for round trip is really good, I just paid $470 for my trip in June to Bogota but that's probably because I fly from Boston. Enjoy your trip!

The NVC automated system doesn't work for K1 visas for some reason-i phoned it first and the automated message told me that it hadn't received our case, but then i spoke to an advisor and they told me that they had received it and also that it had been sent to the embassy. So you should ring back and speak to someone x

Congrats! Happy for you- looks like your case is sliding thru without any delays [you got your NOA2 fast! ] makes you wonder why some cases are taking so long. in my case, i had an RFE which i'm sure is causing the delay, but others havent. Anyway, good luck to you. I'm sure you two will be in the states together soon.
