    Yes I forgot to mention that we have our rent agreement in both our names.

    We have pictures with my friends and family back in india.

    I just wanted to check if this is enough.. :(

    Am not sure if my advice will help you because my interview is next month and this is what I have so far everything U have mentioned. I have lease contracts for 2 terms 2yrs , Credit cards both our names,utility bills both our names,Cable, cell phones both our names, Car insurance, tickets took 2 trips together have those tickets, Church membership Certificates, A lots of pics with her Family from thanksgiving to Graduations, Birthday parties to Home coming party,Family reunion, so far I have 84 pics with me and my wife Family Plus my wife pregnant with my son due October...

    Hi guys,

    Just got home from my interview and i was APPROVED!!! 10min interview he asked me: Where you met? When you arrived in the US? Who went to your wedding ceremony ? That's all.

    One thing he wanted to see was join documents which we have a lot. Car insurance, life, health, dental, bank, phones , zoo membership.

    He stamped my passport and said that the green card will be mailed soon. Also took my EAD Card.

    I asked him if he needed any pictures and he said no thanks you already sent a lot. (I sent a bunch of pictures with my AOS Package )

    So that's it.

    Good luck everybody, be calm, dont stress out and everything is going to be ok.

    How do you go earlier than your biometric appointment date? Do you need to just show up or write to USCIS prior to your visit?

    Just walk in and ask nicely if you can do it early. If they are no busy they will do it :)

    I got my AP yesterday not that I am planning any travels yet however I have a question, on top of my photograph there is a signature of a man "Richard Cowan". My husband thought they made a mistake and put someone's signature on top of my picture. I suspect Richard Cowan has something to do with USCIS? Does anyone have any input on that or does everyone else with their AP have the same signature as me?

    Same as mine.But the name is Robert M. Cowan, not Richard and he is probably someone from USCIS.

    Took my driver's license written test today... And I passed! :)

    Now im worried about the driven test... I have my Brazilian drive's license since I was 18... so 11 years now.. Im really scared of the test

    :(

    Thanks folks, I really appreciate that. I hope I do fine and get done with it.

    The written test was easy, but the second one I took. I asked to take the test in Portuguese but the translation sucked so bad that I couldn't understand a world...result.. I failed.

    Then I asked if I could take another test and they said yes and I asked to take in English and I passed :) Go figure! lol

    Anyway.. My behind the wheels test is on 15th.. wish me luck :)

    I always check my status online but for the past 1.5 months now, there's no luck... But to my suprise, I just checked it and said that my EAD application has been approved today!!! Great news!! No status yet for my I-485 but I already have my appointment letter for June 10.

    OMG! its 1:21AM and i couldnt sleep and decided to check the USCIS website and to my surprise it said that my EAD was approved.

    Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

    Current Status: Card production ordered

    I cant believe !!! I had to wake up my hubby to tell, Im so happy :)

    After receiving a RFE a 1 and half month ago I sent in additional documents that were requested...NOW THEY SENT ME letter to attend interview next week. This sucks.

    we have no joint account, and file Married seperate returns..in addition his address on his returns are different from our apt address. He has a private mail box where he collect all his letters etc...he had this before we were married. i explained the different address as well as the reason why we have no joint account or cannot file returns together....(He has big tax liability and once filed for bankrupcy so we cannot comingle assets or liabilites. geeze i sent in the proof from irs what more do they want?

    I sent in two lease, insurance, rent receipt, magazines, letters from friends, pictures, phone bill with both names on them....

    what questions do they ask at interviews. I am in Manhattan nyc

    I does not sucks, the interview is great . It's the last step to get your green card. Most of us will have interview and this is great :)

    Nvm I got to talk to the USCIS and they said they have no update and they don't know when they will update the case only due the huge backlog that they still have.

    She said I should keep waiting and they will contact me by mail if they need something else.

    Has been 23 since my biometrics and I haven't heard from them :(

    What do you mean backlog? Thats all the 'overload' with cases that they have right?? Because although you have been waiting a little bit longer than i have, it will be 2 weeks for me soon after the biometrics and i havnt recieved anything and i have been checking the website everyday hoping, but still nothing...

    They said there is a lot of cases that they still need to put online. So i think thats what they meant.

    I hope they hurry up.

    Calling USCIS is useless.. If you are close to a local office, make an Infopass appointment.

    Edit to add: You have nothing to worry about yet... I would wait another couple of weeks before worrying.

    Ty, you are right I will wait till the first week of May :)
