So we arrived in Ankara, fiancee couldnt sleep I gave her one ambien (sleeping pill)

next day she told the doctor she took sleeping pill and he gave her a grief of if this is a habit and if he reports this as a abuse she will not be able to get another interview for 4 years, she said this is the only time and asked the doctor if it will be a problem, he said I dont think so

I saw the paper workk briefly before they seal it, could not read it all but I saw anxiety and sleeping problem in there

I know it was very stupid of me to give her the pill

do you guys think this will be an issue, I am really nervous now

The Ankara embassy received my package on 5/18/09, and there is still no interview. They told me it is waiting to be processed. They are very good at responding thru emails. what seems to be rediculous is that they only do up to 5 interviews a day. No wonder it takes forever to get an interview date.

We sent package 3 downloaded from Ankara embassy site and according to DHL they received it on 5/18/09. We still do not have an interview date, I wonder since it was not a barcoded document, maybe there is a delay, but should this take so long?

I had sent my doc to Iran, and she had sent them via DHL last Wedensday. I did not include a self stamped envelope. It is good to have someone in the same situation, lets keep eachother updated.

I appreciate anyone's help in sending docs to the embassy.

The instruction is asking for the originals and copies of birth certificate and divorce to be sent to embassy. I was under the impression that one would take the original copies with them at the time of interview.

Also, the Iranian divorce docs for my fiance in the booklet form was given to her ex-husband and her original is not in the booklet form. Anyone run into this issue before?

I have submitted the copies of all this with the original application. But it seems like they are asking for them again in their website?

I called this morning & they said my case is out of ap & out to consulate on 3/29.

Thank u for ur support. It is not the end , but at least one step forward. Wish all of u had this feeling.

I wonder what happens to the 4 month validity of this visa, all this time wasted, wouldn't it get too close to the expiration specially that this is not the end of the road?

I returned the call, and it said you have reached a non working # at the dept of state passport and visa center.

Had the strangest call yesterday. a lady called and asked for my ex-wife and when I introduced myself as her ex-husband she hung-up. The # was a non-working # for NVC.

My case has been in Ap for 35 days now. I called them back and the operator denied knowing anything about the call and said NVC does not call anyone.

Do you guys have any idea what that was all about?

NVC received approval 3/25/09, assigned the case #, went into additional processing on the 25th.

Anyone knows how long this will take and will the 4 months allowed by USCIS expire?

The said additional reviews. I read some posts about people get stuck at NVC level and it is really frustrating. How often should one call them, or would this create more delays?

I received a letter from NVC saying they will forward the case to the embassy last week, but today when I called they are saying the case is under additional review, and there is no time frame. Can someone help me with what this means, is it bad?

Hi everyone, Appreciate a little help. My i-129f was approved on the 12th and I got a hard copy, however, the USCIS web site still does not show this, also when I called NVC, they had no record of it. Is this a concern, it is almost 11 days since the approval.
